Well, there's still Lt. Commanders being allowed Cruisers.

Also, more than half of your faction has clearance to fly a Battleship. There aren't many low-ranked pilots. 4/7 are in the high command.

Anyway, they aren't active and roleplay in Bretonia hasn't increased much.

We plan on being actively positive in encouraging roleplay amongst players that are new to Disco. We want to show them that fighters are what's needed for combat, not legions of cruisers and that fighting isn't what Disco RP 24/7 is all about.

Already stated. The faction's RP rules aren't conducive to nipping cap-whoring in the bud in new players, and many of its policies don't ring true.

I guess Unselie put it perfectly in calling his RP rulings 'draconian'. I'd phrase it more positively, since we're sticking to solid roleplay, much like RM do, but 'draconian' gets the point across. No half-measures or going easy on members. RM get on fine on that front and has a large membership, we hope to do similar.

Sorry to jump in on the bash SF bandwagon but.....

The SF has never presented itself very well as a Bretonian faction. In fact they have been quite generic. The SF has not embraced the culture of Bretonia.

In fact they have a history of not even using Bretonian ships. This is argued as the SF being a former Liberty faction.

Quite frankly I put my support into a group that wants to act like Bretonians, talk like Bretonians and be Bretonians.

Ok that's enough people. The SF's ways of operating may be looked down upon, at least firebird is a nice guy PM him or something. He hasn't shown an attitude that warrants being bashed to hell for waking up and defending his faction on the forums. I've PM'd him about my dislike of them using liberty ships, what happened OMG! I think they stopped using them!?!?!?!?

Granted they traded them in for Eagles and Raven's Claws, but Tony didn't actually bash them he gave them a choice. It seems that a lot of people left, but Tony helped the faction those were the people who didn't care about the Bretonian RP EVER! Now firebird knows in the faction he can trust and he should be receiving help on how to rebuild it, so unless he does something that warrants getting the crap smacked out of him let's leave this topic strictly about the forming of the QCO which I support wholeheartedly

Firebird has made a point, which, I disagree with (Fly cardamine through Bretonia multiple times, everyday, nobody stops me)
but, Blunt settled it.
no need for everyone else to jump down his throat.

and, actually firebird,
I see SF more as a police faction.
not a Military.

so, in conclusion, if anyone wants to bash the SF, Go Do It Somewhere Else. If anyone has any comments or suggestions for the QCO, then, stay here.

Yeah, Im not big on the bashing of individuals and/or factions. However, I do support the forming of this faction. I've been on Skype with these guys about this, and they've got some good ideas and more importantly good motives. I've even agreed to join/help.

I do agree with Razr, Firebird is good guy. From talking to the QCO founders privately, this has nothing to do with SF. I don't think SF would have even been brought up at all.

AC_Merc, agreed reason I brought up SF was because everyone constantly urges people not to create new factions since we've already got so many. I'm all for an extra hand in Bretonia, there's more than enough action to go around. I'm just trying to make sure that people do realize "hey, the SF's still here to play".

Oooh. Sounds fun. I think I might join once this baby takes off... Which it will, judging by all the support it's getting.

I heart Brettonia. Not overly abused or glorified like all the other houses... Have we thought about what ships Ensigns will fly? Because the Templar (Or whatever the highest one is [fighter-wise]) looks pretty nice... Just a suggestion.

P.S. Shouldn't Captain come before Commander?... Just an observation based on NPC ship flight. Unless you hold GB's in higher regard than the Destroyers. In which case it's fine... But yeah, just curious as to the ranking.
