If you can get into an intense military drama that just happens to be in space, then go for it.

If it turns out that it just ain't your thing, it's still worth watching. If anything else, just to study the uber cool cinematography of it all

Definitely.

At first I joined the BSG faction cuz the vipers were pretty, then became an expert on the TV show because I belonged to that faction (which still exists albeit under a different name)

You'll have...

The miniseries - a sort of pilot to the whole thing showing the big kaboom on day zero, 4 seasons 20-ish episodes each. Throw in "Razor" and "The Plan" - two longer vids alongside the big story. Plus the newest bit - "Caprica" - pure soap this time, no smashing toasters.

Yup, a good week of non-stop watching.

I didn't know there was a forth season out yet. (Has been for ages) Just finished watching it, and the ending of the series is amazing. Brought tears to my eyes. (Any good movie/show does).

Don't expect it to be like the old series full of PEWPEWPEPWDIECYLON EVIL and stuff. It's deeper now, with less pew. But the pew that -is- there is awesome.

cry baby.... :P

i also can confirm that BSG series are great...sure there are episodes that made me question sanity of their writers...but as ScFi series go this is sure one of the better ones....
