That Klose guy almost beat Maradonna's record.

My opinion on the game: Germany played badly, Argentina played worse.

My opinion on your opinion is: You know nothing about good football.

Germany scored at 2 minutes, instead of staying at their field and holding up their advantage, they went for more, Argentina being 1 goal down, attacked constantly, making the game going forward and back all the time, if it wasn't Argentina attacking, it was Germany counter-attacking (And they are damn good at that).

Argentina had some good chances to even the game, they couldn't score, Germany had good chances to score more, they missed some, and scored again too.

It was a great game to watch, for those who understand about football, and Germany showed a lot of good football, they are probably the best team in the cup, good defense and perfect offense, unfourtanely:P

Why's that? xD We are mostly bitches when we lose.

I gotta say, both teams did a fine job in disturbing the opponent's combinations and prominent players. Both M?ller and Messi had a very hard time to shine in this game. In the end however, it was the German offense that was a tad more creative than Argentina's.
Argentina also put on a real fighting spirit throughout the game that didn't turn into individuals displaying 'offensive disappointment' at the end as this game wasn't nearly as close as the last one in '06.

I enjoyed watching it. Easy to say for me though >.<'

Argentinian players forget to shoot to the goal sometimes, it's like a bad addiction, they want to get into the goal with the ball.

Totally agreed.
One of the best matches by Germany and a cold revenge for that arrogant behaviour four months ago.
Guess that little fatty knows now who Mueller is.

PS: Fear the chancellor's might and bow for Rheinland!:D:D:D

Rest was argentina attacking the german wall and germans with relatively few counterattacks finishing it

Ghana game yesterday was much more fun

Man. It's football; not war! :nyam:

I enjoyed both games. It's a shame Ghana lost.

I think my sig sums up my opinion on the matter.

Germany is so set to win it all now, Brazil and Argentina out, Netherlands and Spain are the only two left that can beat them.

As Spain is my second favorite team, the upcoming Germany/Spain match is going to be awesome and horrible for me all at the same time. I say this because I have no doubt Spain will beat Paraguay.

It was an obvious score.

Argentina doesn't have a proper defence / midfield. They seldomly rely on attacking force and an idiot like Maradona (sorry to say) had 6 strikers called to the squad. He should have had Zanetti and Cambiasso called rather than calling Martin Palermo or people like that.

If you cannot keep your midfield properly, you lose. This is a fact of today's football.

And Germany has one hell of a "new Ballack", Mesut Ozil.

Still, Spain won't be like Argentina because their midfield - defence is much much better than Argentina.

The only problem with Spain is that the coach insists on starting with Torres. Torres is at his worst in means of performance. He shouldn't be in the line up and should be replaced by Llorente or Silva (if by Llorente, Villa playing as a winger, if by Silva, Villa playing as a central forward)
