' Wrote:Yes, you're powergaming in describing your rampage through Atka.
No. It isn't power gaming.
Power gaming would be him saying that he killed your character on his character's rampage. Or that during his characters rampage he stole every bit of data that Cryer have.
That's powergaming.
He can RP that his character escaped from Atka and Cryer if he wants. What you're doing is controlling his RP and that would powergaming of a sorts.

That's what I would call powerdictatorship actually. Trying to control people who aren't under your control.
Ok then how about sneaking out as a stowaway on a supply ship or something like that. Maybe a Bowex ship?
If that way is better, i would need some advice how he could escape a well guarded station like Atka without
powergaming.
And i still can't decide which affiliation he should become...

You wouldn't be powergaming my friend. Just refrain from killing anyone's character during the escape and also refrain from stealing highly secret data... Blah, blah blah.
Umm...guys you both have right. It's easy to say "somehow he managed to escape by sneaking his way out".
No powergaming.
But in the name of fairplay, actually Pubert DID stole something from that base...HIMSELF. He was
part of several experiments by testing new drugs on him, remember? Technically speaking he himself is
the classified data.
So i have to admit that Cabulb got an important point there about powergaming...

You make an good point actually. Never thought of your character as the data.
What I'm saying is you wouldn't be powergaming if you wrote a story about you massacring everyone on Atka and escaping. I'd prefer if you notified us to talk about how you want your story to play out so we can give you more details on our faction and how things should be like. I'd accept if you knocked a few guards unconscious while escaping, but killing every single person on a maximum security facility with one person is just too unbelievable.
True, I don't have any power over how you want to play your character but I can play along and turn it to my advantage.
Ok. Taking the advises here serious i changed it to this:
Cletus Roscoe Pubert born on Planet Denver at July 8th, 748 A.S. was an independent trader
in Liberty until he suddenly dissapeared for years. No one knew where he was. But as suddenly
he had vanished, he showed up again, changed past any recognition with surgical implants in his
head and the tick to bite his tongue. He didn't told anyone what happened. He bought a ship
and disappeared again.
Rumors say that he crashed somewhere and doctored his wounds alone only armed with a
sewing kit, a knife and a mirror. Others say that he was abducted and tortured by someone.
He is violent, dangerous and gets easily provoked when someone asks him what happened
back then.
@Cabulb
I didn't mean to slaughter the complete Atka-crew, only a few on his way to the docking-bay.
But i think even this would make no difference. Sorry for any bothers, i'm trying to get better.
Do i have your blessing now?:D
