Thanks for the input guys, still thinking on it, though I'll decide on the weekend.

Mass Effect 1 is a good game.

Mass Effect 2 is a TERRIBLY GOOD game.


WIC is also nice but I would try to make SC2 comfortable and play that for a year =).

Alas, I remember spending day after day trying to fix the issue, and it isn't the game itself, it's BINK. It does it for -every- game it supports, either making it lock up when there's video that's not rendered as a part of the game or even if it relies on BINK for sound, so ye.

What a hard choice:P

Mass Effects are awesome no doubt
So is World in Conflict, My Favorite RTS of all time <3

But if you digging an awesome, action oriented, team based RTS, World in Conflict is the best bet.
Singleplayer is fun to play though before you go online.
Multiplayer is a complete blast
As what Bacon said, really is the Battlefield of RTS games. Teamwork Heavy and very fast paced. Its still played a good bit online. Their still is a competitive community for WiC if your into it.

Their is demos for both Mass Effect 2 and World in Conflict.

Mass Effect. You will not regret it. You can't. There is absolutely nothing bad you can say about the game. Some love it, some like it, some don't care but I don't think you can dislike it in any way.

I haven't played the other, but Mass Effect is mindblowing. The story is awesome, the action is awesome, it's completely awesome. Both ME's are. The price for both of them together is one of the best bargains you'll encounter, one being The Orange Box. Every dollar/euro/whatever spend to buy the games, are worth their amount in 10s.
