One possible theory: It was destroyed but due to the fractal nature of the universe it was rebuilt very quickly and thoroughly right down to the last stain in the men's toilets.

and there I went and made a pretty little post and moved a battleship to go give them a hand with a squadron already there......
oh well, might just start up a war for taking the Freeport over
Quote: ...i must tell you that Freeport 9 has been lost. We are not 100% sure, but we believe there were no survivors of the attack...
Come on people, no survivors =/= the base is gone. It only means that nobody will be there to object or complain when the Corsairs start redecorating it :yahoo:
If you were at the battle this aftertoon, which I think most of you were, you would know that the Zoners bombarded the biodomes of Freeport 9.
If you check the story threads regarding the "Zoner Security Meeting" you will also see James Furgenson, one of the (]c[) leaders, talking about destroying the biodomes.
The biodomes of FP9 are no more. This was done so that when the Zoners of Theta leave and the Corsairs decide to take over the station, they will have nothing to benefit from owning it. Numerous Zoner players have agreed upon this RP course. Now weather you chose to see this as powergaming is up to you. Some might see the idea of forcing Zoners into a war with Corsairs as powergaming. I do not.
