I've spent years working with xenobiology. I love the stuff. There's pros and cons to consider. So we'll be considering them.

Selena, looking over your splendid offer I have to mention that while research iself is valuable, it doesn't pay salaries. We won't be asking for credits either. How do you feel about sharing some of those artifacts as compensation? I can offer the following:

1) All research made on the dig site will be shared with the Benitez HQ. No secrets.
2) One third (1/3) of all artifacts/relics we find may be collected by the Omicroners, free of charge. The rest is yours to do as you like. Hey, if they're cursed voodoo dolls, maybe it's for the best (smiley face)
3) Our teams will do their best to ameliorate the situation over at the dig site so that your mining operations can resume ASAP. Heh. Maybe medication pills are in order.
