Toshiro meets Takahiro in his room to discuss the tragic event that just occurred. Toshiro sees Takahiro sitting on a bed yelling while a doctor is examining him:"For the sake of all that is good! How many times do I have to tell you?! I am fine...now leave me."Takahiro spots Toshiro that is standing at the room door and makes a hand gesture for Toshiro to come closer and then says: "I'm too old for this my nephew...but it seems that young Tenaka saved me from certain death. No matter how dark his past was or what secret he was harboring deep within his burdened soul...he proved to be a man of honor...and that my nephew, is all that matters to me."Toshiro turned his head to watch through the window that had a view of the busy streets of upper Kyoto and said."Whatever secret he was carrying buried is lost to us now, he is dead and there is no bringing him back. But I will say one thing...I underestimated him."Toshiro walks to the door, stops and partially turns his head to Takahiro saying:"I am glad you are alright uncle."He then just leaves down the corridor while some guards make bows to him while he passes. Takahiro starts to take off his robes and starts to smile realizing that what Toshiro just said is as close as it gets to him telling he was wrong. He makes a deep sigh and starts to meditate.
