Quote:a.Gallian freighters and transports can move outside Gallia.
b.Gallian faction ID'd ships (non-military, pirate or police factions) can move outside Gallia (this means that the ships in a. above can have escorts.)
So I would say, the transports can have escorts, thats it. No bounty hunting in Rheinland with your Musketoon Lynx.

Musketon and Lynx aren't Gallic Civilian.... I'm talking about Gallic Civilian Equipment..... Read tread first please;)
And how would you get it? Buy it in Gallia? Then you'd pretty much be a walking target to anyone who thinks your shovel (moonbeam, it looks like a shovel) looks pretty and everyone loyal to Gallia if you didn't have the proper authorization. There's the IRP disadvantages..
For the pvp disadvantages you might want to consider that, as much as I love the shovel, it's not a warrior and you -will- get your backside handed to you on a silver platter. Although I did almost kill some one's Phantom in one >_>
And legal wise.. I doubt it. GALLIC people flying GALLIC tech can come out, not the tech on it's own. Would be strange, too.

So it's plausible that I spaced a Gallic in his shovel, took the shovel, and patched it up then?
I don't see why not.
That said, Gallic ships run on Oil, don't they? So you'd need to have some sort of connections to obtain fuel.

So the player merely needs to be a Gallic mercenary. He likely won't be liked by the crown, but what is to stop the man from taking a craft he has owned for years and pursuing a better life outside the kingdom? Or a transport captain doing the same?
