Zoey Sakura supports this.

Just dunno why it's taken over a year for someone to think it over.

I think problem is not think it off but actually make people follow it.

I would actually say those things are pretty "common sense" for me.

Why would miners sign engagement rules catered around PvP combat?

Quote:1. Promote battles to take place on open space rather than close to a Planet/Base/Stationary Battleship. Do not under any circumstances repeatedly fly towards a Stationary Battleship and/or Station unless you plan to actually retreat. Shieldrunning is of course allowed, but don't do it in conjunction with running towards a Stationary Battleship and/or Station and use its turrets as cover-fire.

The way I understand this:

"If you fly to a stationary base don't come back"

It's one thing when someone flies there to get a cover and then back out, and something else if you undock (say out of Stokes) to find 5 enemies around it. In that case I don't see the need to dock unless it gets dangerous. Cause otherwise applying this criteria you could park 10 Kusari Battleships in front of New London and tell every Bretonian there that they have to dock to follow this guideline.

From what I understand, there must be a aspect of "fleeing" in the first place for this to apply. In other words, if you undock to find the base being camped by the enemy, you have not fled to begin with. But, if you dock into a lane with Stokes and find yourself facing superior numbers and get fired on, and you flee to Stokes, yes, then you should dock.
