I would recomend talking to the Keepers to get a good idea on what you are trying to do.
You do not need their permission, but getting their insight will not harm you any.
Also have a good talk to them about your ideas regarding the Dom K'vosh, after all multiple heads are better than one.

No, it's the idea of the DK returning to guide a single Nomad, and the fact the Nomads are all connected via a Mindshare. Nomads can't keep secrets from other Nomads, and a Nomad not connected to the Mindshare cannot regrow after dying.

The Keepers aren't really a faction, more a collection of Nomad indies approved for Nomad RP and not to be morons.

It's not the idea of him flying a Nomad around, it's the terrible idea of having the DK in a story without being Treewyrm.
