[16.03.2026 23:03:40] 2026-03-16 22:01:02 SMT Traffic control alert: Kiyo_Maru has docked
On the 16th of March, 2026, the Rheinland Polizei encountered the Kusari-registered transport vessel Kiyo_Maru while performing a routine patrol in the vicinity of Rheinland space. The vessel was ordered to halt and submit to a cargo scan and ID verification.
The vessel was found to be carrying Daumann Side Arms, a type of restricted cargo that may only be transported by Rheinland law enforcement authorities, affiliated Rheinland corporations, or organizations with appropriate licenses. The pilot claimed the cargo was intended for the Crayter Republic, which does not hold the necessary authorization to transport such weapons.
The unauthorized transport of the Daumann Side Arms constitutes a serious contraband violation. In accordance with Rheinland law, the cargo should have been confiscated, and the violator is required to pay a fine for each unit of contraband. The fine for the contraband amounts to 100,000 credits, calculated at 20 credits per unit for 5,000 units of illegal cargo. Furthermore, as per Rheinland regulations, all contraband must either be handed over to the relevant authorities or destroyed on-site in cases of non-human contraband.
Despite the clear directive to stop for inspection, the pilot continued towards Planet Holstein and proceeded to dock without permission. This action constitutes a direct violation of Rheinland space protocols, and shows a blatant disregard for lawful orders issued by Rheinland enforcement officers.
After the docking incident, the Kiyo_Maru remained in orbit around Planet Holstein for approximately 10 minutes. During this time, a vessel of the Sondereinsatzkommando (SEK) remained in the orbit to prevent any escape or further evasive actions by the violator. However, despite these precautions, the Kiyo_Maru could not be located after an intense search near the landing pad. The pilot’s whereabouts remain unknown, and the vessel could not be apprehended during the search. This deliberate evasion further disrupts the investigation and highlights the lack of cooperation from the pilot.
