2002. Beta/Alpha tested it with my Dad. Dad used to work for Microsoft, and we got a lot of free games/software. x)

Back in 2003, my father went to a buisnes trip to Germany. He brought FL back. Interestingly it was in stores in my town too, however I didn't notice it.

The CD is now long lost. One of my friends gave it to his friend that gave it to his friend...

I've been playing this game since since 2004 in all sorts of servers. With time outs, of course.

My father bought it in 2003 or 2004, I'm not sure anymore, though I played it through the years 'til february 2010 on the vanilla version. With breaks of course, but it was the only game I took up again and again in the years. After I was fed up with the vanilla version, I looked up for mods, found Discovery and now playin' since april-may '10 constantly on the server.

This is not true at all. Don't make generalisations.

I think u may of missed my point i have no idear how long u have been playing computer based games
but i just see that older games had more to them maybe a lack of Fx

the point im making that older game's you had to use you imagination a lot more and i think thats what made the games better ,,,,,,,,,, well for me at least .

if u disagee i put it to u to name a game the that has all this to it, year 2000+ as it seems all down hill from there in the world of gaming ,,,,,,,,

imagination
interaction, Game play
more then 50 mission (if that type of game)
takes longer then a few day to finish the game
sence of realism to it
well thort out story line ,
a lote of variable's to it

i can think of one that is silent hunter 3

i am making generalisations concepts and over opinionated on this but i am sure i am making a good point and modern games are lacking that certain something

or maybe i am getting old grumpy and cenile

i can not find any new games for a long time that draw me in
