Well, when I was actually active in HF, we weren't stealing them, we we building them. I know a couple of the old Gunboat aces still have theirs, and the Liberty Gunboat has volumes of firepower, something the Hacker Gunship can't claim. There's a role for both of them; hell, maybe yours was sold off by the Hellfire when it got dilapidated or something; it's an old ship, being phased out of the navy for the Cruiser, maybe you got it off the black market.

As for Roleplaying an old ship...it should have some problems.
