I saw the first season, and the argument is catching. Although the staff needs some nuclear war, military and technology consultants urgently.
WARNING! MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS!!!!!!!
They make an awful lot of mistakes... Like taking cover from firearms behind a car door (even a 9mm bullet can pass it clean, and still kill you), and a person escorting a tank (come on....). Also, taking cover inside a Pb bunker against neutron radiation (Neutron radiation turns Pb radioactive by alpha decay, hence turning the bunker into a death trap). And many others i can't remember atm, as i wacthed the series long ago.
I might see season two... If i get interested in watching TV again. I don't like TV much. I feel as if i were loosing my time watching it, instead of doing something productive, useful with my time.
(If you find any mistake in my English, please let me know via a PM)
(Really, I speak terrible English, so please, tell me if I make mistakes. I'd like to improve it a bit )
My 2 biggest peeves in the show is 1. the COMPLETE lack of a nuclear winter,
& 2. in a town lacking food, water, electricity, ect. most of the time...the women are still flawlessly hot.
The more I watch the show, though...the more I just roll w/ it, & say to myself:
Well, if Star Wars can have sound, fire, & gravity in space...then why not a magical bubble in Kansas that just happens to be just barley out-of-range of multiple fallout sectors?:P...Where the sun still shines, & the birds still sing, as the town marches to the harvest fields, arms akimbo, singing an anthem together...
...but hey, look @ the bright side. The birds still fall dead to the ground, & the food supply is infested w/ maggots.
Rome wasn't built in a day!
::wait...that might have been funnier in my head:mellow:::
