^ agree.

I like the barge as it is, apart from it flips on a dime faster than anything!

I would love to see npc's made to clip through players... or even just the barge if possible...

- we have been - and still work on a creative and working idea to reduce the flip of large ships ( not just the barge but also cruisers, battleships, transports ... ) - or do you believe that if we COULD fix it - we deliberately missed the barge out?

- the barge as it was envisioned by Seth Karlo ( he made the concept of the ship ) - was not meant to be moving - it was meant to be brought into a specific spot ( admin .beam ) and act as a relais station. - so we did a lot to ensure that moving it from system to system was not "impossible" but close to it.


- using the barge for trading is against its initial concept - period! - you can say "but, but, but ... its purchasable to the public now and all that...." but it does not change the fact that the ship was not build to be made for trading - but for sitting in ONE spot and be filled up by a fleet of little helpers.

( you could as well complain that you have no chance winning the dublin race vs. a dagger - while flying a zoner juggernau )

when people ram large ships in their fighters, Their shield should go down.

and if they do it when their shield is down then they loose half hull.

simples.

If barge trading was possible easily, the server would be hell. berges everywhere. Everone would fly one.

OR if you kept them as special request, everyone would rage about not having one.

Its simply too easy to make tons of credits with a hold of that size.

I hope you know that ship is purely a storage or rp based ship, and should only be used as so unless you want to be lulzy. I have flown one, and even though its not hard to get from system to system, it takes hours and NPCs will flip you. We have already suggested a anti-flip system be put in, but it hasn't gone through.

long story short, the barge is a terrible ship. Get use to it.

Barge =/= ship.
It's meant as a playable, somewhat mobile station.

Im back baby! may even start CODEYs again but will have to see how Bases affect that who know maybe i will save for a base Smile
