Discuss.

Edit: aka Hessians, Rogues, Unioneers, etc.

How about, remove Sabre from generic ID usage and leave it only to the factions who had it in vanilla

I meant to say that when the BW line gets blocked why not block civilians either?

Military flying civilian ships?

or on Earth

Military driving a civilian Hummer instead of the military one because he likes the looks more and finds it better to drive?

Anyway,

Most factions already have rules about what ships they can use and which not for RP reasons.

That's what the Civilian shipline is for.

Have fun.

Ah, but you forget the following fact:

Ergo, remove the BW line from generic ID usage.

Well... Given that he was approaching the discussion from the pov of factions which already possess a shipline and the question of generic IDs wasn't raised until you attempted to divert the conversation off track by demanding an accounting of said generic IDs... Yeah. Not really a failure of the original post.

If the aim was to remove Sabre from ID's that own a shipline (either it sucked or not) generic ID's own one as well (many of them besides sabur), I was continuing his discussion in natural order in which only this discussion could evolve. Therefor my argument still stands.

I believe you're claiming that the generic IDs own the civilian line, which is incorrect. Any and everyone may use the civilian line. From Outcast Eagle to Liberty Navy Eagle. The borderworld line is supplemental, a supplemental line which the generic IDs have access to. Claims to the contrary would be akin to stating that civilian guns are also to be restricted to generic IDs and I doubt that debs are so quickly or easily abandoned.

If you wish to remove generic ID access to the borderworld line I'd suggest you make another thread to discuss the point.
