If we could actually do subversion this wouldn't be such a problem.
Instead, pirates have to fly around with pirate ids that make them hostile to everything, clearly marking them, and smugglers can't hide their cargo like real smugglers do.

I find TLAGS good enough as it is... Simple - if you see a trader entering a lane and he doesn't exit it in 10 seconds, something's going on there, no?

You get the "exit" message when they leave the lane halfway due to a disruption (or manually leaving).
Or make trade lanes give false readings... every once in a while, an operational trade lane gives the reading of failed, and a downed lane gives the reading of operational, huh?

There's already *way* too much information in there to start adding in false messages as well. As it is there's so much going on that it's easy for people to slip through the cracks.
