It gets easier with more experience in combat. Thats the only possible answer I could think up for you.
You can try using preset messages, but that would just get repetitive, unless you keep setting new preset messages every time (which would again be repetitive and kinda dull).
I'll probably fool around with presets for a bit until I get sick of them.
I didn't think shooting was an RP action (though it kinda takes away from the immersion).
Short bursts of chatter, if you can condence your thoughts into the bare bones of the idea and say that in combat, you will have a better go of it.
think of real life flying in the "G's" that combat would make you would be moving around and unable to make real talk as easily either.
Another thing that might help, learn or practice more of typing with one hand. When you are in combat, learn to type with the one as you dodge and fly with the other.
Talk and combat is a skill, not a right. If you die a lot talking, you are talking too much. That's what I tell myself, and it works. I go back out talking less and shooting more, dodging more, and I kill and have fun.
' Wrote:Hey.. if you're gonna use preset messages you might as well not say anything at all in combat.. Unless they're funny taunts, in which case rock on.

or, as Kapi so eloquently put it - 'Watch out for double nukes'
