Rofl.
If we were to ban every single thing the nazis used, our life would be rather limited in a lot of areas. Also, Edelweiss wasn't only Waffen-SS unit, it was also the name of a combat operation and after the war an underground resistance movement. )))

A: Apparently, this is my own pvp-hoar group where I will collect all the best pilots I know and we will fly around shooting people with few or no roleplay. What else are the Mercenary IDed groups made for?
and I have to say, I approve of this faction.
On top of that, I like the name you've picked... EdelweiÃ, that's a cute flower indeed.
While the occupation of Lewis and the loss of ideals became the impulse that brought Edelweiss to life, being opposed to the incoming invasion is not that easy. Their reputation in Bretonia is bad, all the members are still considered wanted terrorists, they have no base to operate from, no money and hardly have a facility to repair their fighters, scratched in the last attempt to hold Royal Navy. In that situation, along with the general goal, the micro-management comes becomes the most important thing.
The good officer always knows the importance of logistics. So, with the grudge against Gallia beared, members of the Edelweiss had first to find someone to take care of them in exchange of anything - from the old partnership to their dirty work. In other words, while the invasion is the reason why Edelweiss is created and while their high moral ground is backed up by patriotism, grievance or other personal reasons, on practice the group will have to deal with the supplies problems, look for bases of operation and balance between their past stance as bretonian terrorists and the new one in the new world.
In other words, this is not a mere group, created for the sole purpose of fighting GRN.
