Why does how the posts are counted matter even in the slightest?

Because bunch of kids who don't go outside can't bitch slap new coming player, cause they used to look important with high number of posts.

And I couldn't care less, if I can get reset to 0 posts, I would love it.

If so, I am fine with that (although I dont think thats what is happening.) I would rather peoples post ego was based on the amount of rp the write on the forums and not about how many rules threads or faction feedback arguments they have gotten into.

Nope, doesnt contribute to server roleplay, it contributes to the snarky, snippy attitude that dominates discussions about anything on this forum. Its not roleplay.
