I don't see the "From time to time I'm trying to get a Vigilante ID but then I can't think of a proper way to roleplay this to revive the ID" voting option:D

So, you're saying that....
Liberty Navy.
Bretonian Armed Forces
Kusari Naval Forces.
Rheinland Military.

...can't use bombers as well?:)

On the side note - while I do LOVE VIgilante ID as a PvPwhore (not playing with it currently, but keeping an eye on it in case Hunters become completely unplayable), I'd strongly vote against giving gunboats to that ID, that will require to turn some red cells in the tech chart into white ones, and will make said ID too unbalanced, which may result in same thing that happened to AI ID in the end. Don't want that.

Well, afaik, it's some sort of angry civillian, that is not satisfied with how his government deals with unlawfulls, so he's rendering his own justice how he sees it. At same time, his actions are completely unlawfull in the eyes of law enforcers, since he has no right to hunt and/or kill anyone. He's just that, "civillian".
Actually, it would work great b4 the mining mod nerf, in Dublin, where BAF authorities sometimes even did let the corsair/molly go, with the words "I don't have the proof he commited ulawfull acts" (few minutes after he blew up another miners)

IMO, excellent ID if you want some pewpew and hunting:).

It's a shame that vigilantes are so uncommon - it's because the ID is screwed up. They're not specifically limited to being a lawful citizen fighting an obviously unlawful force. I made a vigilante called Adam Patterson, an ex-BMM security pilot who took up the cause of ridding Bretonia of the IMG. A lawful vigilante attacking a group he perceives as a menace, and an Admin told me that if I was sanctioned for blowing up IMG ships with this vigilante he'd investigate it.

They're already allowed bombers as has been stated in this thread before. Patterson for example uses a Roc. The only reason I don't use him as a vigilante any more is because I signed him up to Queen Carina's Privateers.

P.S. No gunboats for vigilantes.

[17:45:39] Wolfs Ghost (Murphy): Tom, you have problems. Go kill yourself.
[19:25:12] Johnny (Jam): Tomtom, I will beat you with a spoon.
[14:22:56] Prarabdh Thakur: KILL HIM WITH A SHEEP.
[17:40:48] Eagle (Junes): Tom should be slapped with a spoon.
[11:32:18] Warspite: Thank you for being so awesome Tom. <3
[18:17:36] Metano: I love you tomtom
[20:06:24] Warspite: I will seriously give you epic head.

Eh?
EDIT: Just noticed it can't attack only police and military force, nothing is said about possible conflict with any other group in the ID... that indeed opens addition RP possibilities. ^^

P.S. sorry for double post...

Technically, BMM and IMG are hostile to each other. However, they've made various agreements which mean they don't fight. Patterson didn't agree with these deals and decided to fight the IMG. The reason the RP worked was because it made sense - if I'd wanted to rid Bretonia of Republican Shipping for example it wouldn't have made any sense for an ex-BMM pilot to want to do this.

So, Batman, Spiderman, Iron Man, Hulk, X-men, Superman - all of them should use Vigilant ID. Therefore, this ID is a pack of awesomness and should be used only by the superheroes.

I've imaged that kind of infocard:
The owner of this ID is a superhero, who:
-wears panties over pantyhose;
-might use a fluttering cape;
-have a nerd alterego;
-wants to defeat the evil genious who wants to conquer the world;
-vulnerable to Kryptonite.

Vigliants can use bombers, read rules and defenitions, by them all fighters and bombers fall under the Fighter class.
It's ashaming that Vigliants can't use civvy technology and GBs, while indie pirates can.

Err ... they can!
Tech chart says you can use Civilian (Sirius-wide outside Gallia):)

Debilitators, Flashpoints etc. is equipment that a vigilante can mount ... however, the equipment should reflect that (as stated in the ID) ... what means that you should use House weapons ... but you can't use them per tech chart ... so ... what now?:D

I was talking about house civvy. It's quite obvious they could use Sirus Wide civvy.
