This is now the QCRF vs KNF regular event/battle slot.

Five important Bretonia Armed Forces Cruiser Commanders and 4 Admirals, including the Admiral David Montrose himself are currently under interrogation in the fortress prison ship of the Kusari Naval Forces, the Kangoku_Maru.

The Kangoku_Maru is a jewl of advanced Kusary technology, a modified Kusari Mining Ship specifically designed to be a flying fortress.
With only a crew of 10 service personnel and 90 trained security guards, automated internal systems, security turrets and echanched anti-evasion hull,
this ship can carry more than 1000 prisoners keeping a very high security level.
Last known position 20k above battleship Nagumo, Kyushu system.

The Kusari Admiralty is sure Bretonia Armed Forces will try to rescue the prisoners at all cost preventing them from revealing vital informations on enemy fleets positions and have placed a stationary fleet to defend the position around the prison ship.

The Kangoku_Maru long range scanners are picking up several Bretonia Armed Forces contacts on intercept course and is pre-warming the enginges.
Suddently there is an onboard explosion, firsts analisys reveal Blood Dragons saboteurs have caused heavy damage to cruise engines and thrusters.
The Kangogu_Maru start heading toward New Tokyo jump hole (inside the dust field) at normal engine speed, if it reaches New Tokyo system the engines will be repaired and the ship saved.

Time of the event is Saturday 23 Feb 2008 at 23.00 GMT (6 PM EST).
This event is restricted to KNF and QCRF members only, unless sides needs balancing at the event start.

Victory conditions for KNF:
-The Kangoku_Maru reaches NT system
-Attacking fleet destroyed or retreated

Draw conditions:
-The Kangoku_Maru is destroyed

Vicory conditions for QCRF:
-Attacking fleet outnumber the defenders by 2 to 1 (or 3 to 1... depending on the numbers)

The use of cruise engines/re-engaging is allowed with the purpose of chasing the prison ship but if you are clearly seen retreating when shields are down
or things go bad it will be treated as disengage/flee.

Well... "we won" anyway....

basically Dieter and Lotek got killed first...

then 3 KNF!! (one was reinforcement)

then I killed the remaining Templar and Hussar.

So it was 3 vs 4 ships lost... but I was the last man standing.
