A strange punk with a cockatiel on his shoulder entered. He walked straight to the bartender.

"Oi! Gimme a cold beer would ya?"

Without hesitation the bartender gave him the drink. The punk drank some of the beer.

"Aaah! I needed tha' so badly..."

He looked around and saw Dane with his guitar.

He mumbled.

"Feckin' hippies... Will they eva' go an' do somethin' useful? An' then those bloody songs..."

The two fiersome looking humanoids walked through the airlock from the bridge of their cruiser moored near the station. One was slightly aged, speaking with a strong, bellowing voice. The other was a bit younger but equally menacing in appearance. Their demeanor became evident when the security guard demanded their weapons, both groaning at him. The guard, no slouch himself, had seen enough fighting and let them pass.

Gorkon stood a moment to survey the lounge. He paid little mind to the man with the bird on his shoulder. He also paid little mind to the Kusarian, figuring saying anything would set off tensions with any local Bretonians. The man eating his dinner looked familiar but in respect, he left him to his peace.

Gorkon's partner was a bomber pilot. Rodeffer came from Freeport 9 when he heard of trouble.
He spoke little by choice but when he did he did so with authority.

Gorkon heard the music being played but didn't recognize that it was Dane Summers playing it.
"Excuse me," he asked of him, "I seek Dane Summers. Might you know where we can find him?"

Jeremy, upon hearing the insult flung at Dane, sat up.

"Yo, mohawk. I'd be nice when you are within earshot of the station administrator and a bunch of Order."

Jeremy rurned back to Jimmy.

"That's Leigh's surviving crew from his Corvo. Got in too deep."

Jeremy finished his root beer.

The punk bursts into laughter.

"Hah! Ya're a funny lad!"

He walks towards him.

"Listen, kid. Wi' an attitude like tha', ya'll never eva' reach anythin'.

If it was a Daam K'Vosh playin' those bloody songs on da guita' I would probably shout it in his face.

If ya dun' voice ya opinion, ya become a slave o' da system."

Sal looked up at the two newcomers, Gorkon and his partner, and pointed to the young man playing guitar. Dane's eyes were still shut in concentration, nodding with the beat, lost in the emotion of the song.

"And I've already suffered...I want you to know...that i'm ridin' on hell's hot flames...

"...comin' up from below...far from below..."

"how high...can we go...?"

"Go...go...go...yeah....go...go...go...yeah...."

"Go...go...go...yeah....go...go...go...yeah...."

"Go...go...go...in peace...go...go...in peace..."

"Hey...help this man...I just wanna say..."

"I just wanna say...on and on again...on and on again..."

"Hell, I've already suffered...I want you to know...god, i'm ridin' on hell's hot flames...

"...comin' up from below..."

"...How far...far from below..."

"how high...can we...go?"

The music continued though the words were spent, dwindling down, the folksy melody that had filled the room now subsided, like waves leaving a shore. Little by little, the notes became softer and softer, until fading out, leaving silence behind. Dane opened his eyes, and saw that they were a bit blurry. It always happened when he poured thick emotion through his songs...having to shut his eyes to keep back tears.

Scattered applause emerged from the various patrons, who Dane hadnt even noticed coming in. he blushed slightly, drug his arm over his eyes to clear them, gave a wane smile and a sort of half bow. He grabbed his drink, took a long pull off it, and wished the alcohol would work quickly. His arm was screaming in protest at the musical workout, and Dane just felt tired.

Another wave of dizziness was on the rise as Gorkon approached.

Ezio leaned against the doorway, listening carefully. He had stopped in for a quick drink before heading out, but fate had provided him a golden opportunity.
He reached down and took out his comm unit, playing uselessly with it for a minute.
The man walking in behind appeared to take no notice of the pre-arranged signal, but immediately went to the bar and took a seat, two stools away from anyone else and with a clear view of the rest of the room. He ordered a beer on a quite generous tab.
Ezio ordered his own drink, paying no attention to his backup, before taking a seat within earshot of Summers, paying fierce attention to a trivial report he had pulled up on his comm.

Kazai stood up and wandered softly over to the bar. A man who had not even reached his 20's, Kazai was extraordinarily short by comparison to almost everyone in the bar making only 5ft 4" with slightly heeled flight boots on. This was an asset and a curse; An asset in helping him blend into the background of any scene and a curse....Well, someone has to change light-fixings, and it certainly wasn't going to be him.

Upon reaching the bar, he smiled softly at the barkeep who wafted over. Kazai asked for a single dry Nihonshi. The barkeep looked at him as if he were mad. Dammit, in regular words not Kusari. He repeated his order for Sake, and the barkeep nodded.

"You're lucky, I only got a couple of bottles of the stuff in the crate," The barkeep said, wandering away toward the drinks cabinet. Moments later, the glass was filled with a slightly violet liquid.

The collection of Order personnel had now quietened. As had the music. Kazai paid only fleeting attention to it; he could tell it was pleasing to his ears and that was about it. It had been followed by an applause, which Kazai felt compelled to unleash alongside the patrons of the bar. Blend in, blend in.

The two great lumbering hulks of men who had approached the bar searching for the one named "Summers" grunted as they drew closer. Instinctively, Kazai left his stool and retreated to a booth far into the bar's corners and well away from the central locations.

<jim gave the "mowhawk man" a stern look> "provided your simply voicing your thoughts and not threatening my friend...we wont have problems will we?" <he removed his jacket showing his marine built muscle as a sort of deterrence to the the punk
"lets all just share a few rounds before the rhinelanders get here,ok" his pistol was also visable now and he pulled his dog tags out from under his shirt,as he spotted the two men near what he thought as the freeport administer "hmm, klingons here and why does one of em look like somebody i know" he thought to himself as he finished his drink

"I didn' threaten anyone, lad. Though, ya yaself don' seem ta be shy o' threatenin' people huh?"

He chuckled and looked to the cockatiel on his shoulder.

"Bu' we don' feel threatened do we, Stalin?"

The bird replied with a screeching voice.

"So tell me, laddie. Why ya be carryin' guns on a freeport. Tha' be rather... unorthodox ain' it?"

"Oh no! We don't! Kraaah!"
