Well, Aussies when living at the bottom of the world have had to be inventive I guess. Generic would work better, but I was just trying to think of ways to generate income etc in the edges of Sirius, without becoming criminal. Cause we do have SOME standards of honour!
As much as I would love to say use the vigilante ID, cause heck, taking the law into our own hands would RP perfectly, it is just too restrictive. Or maybe thats just me?

Yea on second thoughts, it would probably fit in quite nicely actually. With a few Freelancer ID'd people to have transports to carry our sheep in. Im gona guess most of our tech will be restricted to civilian stuff, cause it just makes more sense.
I'm thinking of maybe fleeing the oppressive Bretonian Government into Omega 3, making an alliance with the Zoners to stay on Freeport 1 and in turn protect it from the Bretonian incursions. Temporary measure while we search for a better place to set up camp. Then we have the ability to mine the fields in O3 and O7, and we can pick up our sheep from Planet Stuttgart.
Then essentially we just roam the Omegas searching for a place to lay our stake in.
i like the idea of beginning near Bretonia, hence O3. Was thinking of the Taus, but with Gallia steamrolling through that wouldn't be conjusive to a happy life. Plus with the Omegas there is scope to live near the Edge of space (obviously not quite into the Edge worlds now, cause the vigilante ID wont let us)
however I am at a loss as to a good reason for breaking away from Bretonia (other than desire for independance). I'm thinking dissatisfaction with the war in Kusari, but I'm not too sure.
You know, going back to early aussie history of being convicts (ie: criminals). Could always make the faction pirate based, with neutrality towards the zoners. Have some pirate's, some freelancers, some smugglers. You know, that kinda thing.
