I 2nd this one. It's an interesting distraction. Reptile has of course already played the dozen or so I'd recommend before Sins of a Solar Empire.

I got Civ V awhile back, its a pretty good one if that's your forte . ..

Also World in Conflict might pass some time for you if you get it at a bargain type deal . .
