question about the IMG faction

I saw someone with IMG in their name last night.

Don't recall the name at this time...

I fly with an IMG tag and would have no qualms about joining an IMG tagged group. Just so long as we beat up those bastard Bretonian Miming Malcontents with the bad dental work...

(Of course, if we can do so when the BAF and Bretonian Donut Eating Brigade isn't around... that would be best.)

that would probably be me if it was in either Omega 49, Magellan or New london. most of my characters are tagged and Id'd with IMG and there only seems to be about 4 or 5 people with IMG which surprises me because they have alot more freedom than the other mining guilds such as the GMG and BMM and even have alot of ships that they have built on their own and are pretty darn good ships aswell such as the Ravens Talon (after reading about it im going to test it out tonight and if all goes well i will be switching my Virage for it:)although that is also for RP reasons because im not sure the Virage is allowed with IMG and i dont know how to find out )

and i have only seen one single BMM pilot of which i wasnt in a IMG ID'd ship at the time

and Templar, that is why i didnt include the =CR= because i know they aint IMG but are allied with them but that is all and because of that alliance you are allowed to us IMG ships, bases and systems (heck IMG even have their own gaurd system! and is pretty roomy)

I play only as Tarsis_Rihl, at this time. Since I have now obtained a good lay of the land, I intend on picking up a "Name change" badge and switching my name to [IMG]Tarsis or [IMG]Tarsis_Rihl, I haven't decided if I am going to drop the Rihl or not.

My goal is switch up to a Colonial Gunboat and use that for exploration, trader defense and possibly some light trading or a Viper MkII at times.

Nelzie, yeah i am going to put the IMG tag in my names aswell so that it is easier for people to identify that we are IMG and that people are playing as the IMG so they wont be alone:)

you can still join the BMM, just not as a player faction. same as the IMG (unless people are willing to create it)

the IMG versus BMM would make some excellent RP in the Tau systems and with BMM based in Bretonia and an IMG base outside of bretonian space on both sides could make more people populate Bretonia aswell

There also exists an IMG base inside Bretonia, Newcastle System. It's far from the jumpgate.
