Since I was engaged in said fight. I have no idea why you choose to came to Iota jumphole, but since you came we destroyed your friend first, you however have escaped and ran off, at Yaren we were engaged in a fight with two gunboats, however you have returned into fight. Again, once the gunboats were dealt with you ran off into Kappa and out of scanners. Several minutes later we proceeded into Kappa to investigate attacks on the nomads by a bretonian battleship (!). The battleship flee and docked into the planet, as our duty was over we set course back to Delta, Prophecy was engaged by two Black Squadron members as it jumped into Delta, the fight took place in there and one of them was destroyed. Next arrives TBH force with you. In our regular behavior we choose to head back to Iota, this has always been our answer to re-engagements and other combat rule violations. Engagements were recorded.

We honor combat rules by following them. Do you?

Quote:Why is it that the Keepers are ALWAYS in capital ships? I never see anything smaller than a Nomad gunboat when it comes to Keepers, were is their RP?
No comment. Keepers use various ships, ranging from vhfs and bombers to gunboats and single unique battleship. If you have not experienced seeing others it does not imply they were never used. I know quite well what ships and when were used, but also what ships they fought against. This is just plain flaming, get over with it. Just for example yesterday the Keepers flew on fighters.

There is a deep resentment towards the Keepers in this community. Yes, they use capital ships a lot, but let's face it, they're in the Omicrons. What else was going to happen? They're up against have a dozen Roflcoptors and Ub3rpwnz0rs in Huntresses and possibly a l33t h4x in an Osiris. Or five. Now, I'm not exactly a bomber expert, but I've flown the Nomad Bomber, and I can say I'd much rather have a Catamaran or an RB. The Scorpion Gunboat, on the other hand, is one of the best in the game. Not the most maneuverable, but it has eight forward-firing guns with perfect accuracy. What would you rather fly?

Oh, and anybody who flies a Nomad Battleship has guts. LOTS of them. That thing is IMPOSSIBLE to maneuver with, unless you have a LOT of practice with her.

EDIT: Oh, and their main fighter has three guns. 'Nuff said.

3 class ten guns, and a torp slot, eppy.
and a powerplant that can fire a mini three times, and fire all the guns with no drain.

I believe a pair of nommie fighters killed everything in NY last night, which says something about both the keepers flying fighters, and said fighters capability to kill a huntress or 2..

Not to mention it's really small and manuevers like a starflea. Any other VHF wanna take on a Nomad fighter? Pah, toast.

I think you guys mixed up on the fighters there. There is nomad fighter (light fighter class) and nomad very heavy fighter (called "assassin"), they are completely different ships with stats, maneuvering and everything. Even so it's rather going off the topic here. Original one was about re-engagement, engagement rules and only.

Wait, that thing has a torp slot?

O.O

Nerf it. Now.

I still think everything else is valid, though. Not to mention the Two Nomad Fighter line somewhat waters down the "Keepers is capwh0res! lol" line.

EDIT: Sorry, Yuri, was posting...

People flame the keepers because they don't like losing.

Get. Over. It.

If you don't want to lose, don't engage. Besides, it's not logical for humans to just run up to alien ships and start firing away. I would be freaked out at first.

Secondly, you did break re-engagement rules.

The Rules are the rules, they cannot be deviated from in an circumstance. Otherwise, they become strong suggestions.

Has already been long time ago. It cannot fire supernova or nova torp, only nomad torpedo which are equivalent of mini-razors by mechanic and stats (actually they're less powerful than MR, the only nice thing about them is the awesome looking explosion and screeching sound, but that's it).

That is what I mentioned in the first answer. But only in a shorter take.

And guys, I don't get the point why you're starting discussion about keepers up here 0_o

vince has ask something total different as if nomad fighter has 3 or 30 guns and if it has nuclear reator or what so why you start discuss this things?

keepers are very good rp players and they fly what they need to survive. so pls dont talk about what they have and what they dont have.
