Short version, any website containing copyright material can be blocked and taken down.
Current situation: Someone on youtube uploads copyrighted song - Universal files a complaint - Youtube removes it
Situation if this gets through: Website contains a copyrighted song - Universal files a complaint to USA goverment - site gets DNSed if based in America, taken down completely.

You can still sign a Petition. Even as an European. Follow this Link. I hope that People will protest about this before the Decision. So far this has totally been ignored by German Medias.

Piracy is not legal in Switzerland, only the Download for personal use is allowed. That means, torrenting is illegal. Why? If you torrent a Movie or Lady Gaga's new Album you share/upload while downloading.
