They've already tried. And uh. I don't think you can do anything.. but wait till it comes to Europe.

Short version, any website containing copyright material can be blocked and taken down.

Current situation: Someone on youtube uploads copyrighted song - Universal files a complaint - Youtube removes it

Situation if this gets through: Website contains a copyrighted song - Universal files a complaint to USA goverment - site gets DNSed if based in America, taken down completely.

They legalised Piracy in thier country. xD

You can still sign a Petition. Even as an European. Follow this Link. I hope that People will protest about this before the Decision. So far this has totally been ignored by German Medias.

They legalized Piracy in their country.

Piracy is not legal in Switzerland, only the Download for personal use is allowed. That means, torrenting is illegal. Why? If you torrent a Movie or Lady Gaga's new Album you share/upload while downloading.

They didn't legalise anything, they just decided that some actions that are considered copyright infringement in other countries would remain legal.
