Connecticut was the quick fix, and it has stopped a lot of the 'sitting around, chat room' atmosphere, which
of course spoils everyone's roleplay ... And 52 people was a full server not that long ago, and we had
that just in New York the other night. The server is not surprisingly, getting a little touchy ...
So basically if you wish to sit around, please go to another system, Liberty has several available with large
friendly planets in them. Kusari has no dealers, New Berlin has none either. Bretonia has one enterprising
one starting out.
Now thats roleplay ...

The chat room thing in NY is not because of us dealers though, we use PMs for business.
Well besides me, You gotta attract customers some how. anmd if i move, i might end up paying new guys to advertise for me in NY to get to Connecicuit:D

But the good thing about NY, the population. You cant get a traffic volume in say Texas or Colorado as would you in NY plus how much safer NY is.
New Berlin is a good alternative, but constant pirate attacks on NB.


You have to consider also, NY is the center of Sirius so its always busy.

Thats the entire reason basically in a nutshell ... Its a 'hide behind' situation. Well just hire some muscle
then, plenty of heavies around to cover your a** ...
Dealing arms comes with a little danger sir, so get with the plan. What we don't want to do is make it
official, to leave a little latitude ... But it can be if people don't get the reasons behind the move.
One dealer complaining, and the rest saying its a good idea ?

Good business acumen on the Wellington guy's part. He was hawkings his wares in Bretonia yesterday. Bretonia is teeming with activity it seems. At least in the hours I'm in.

I definately vote for moving the Arms market to Connecticut. Manhattan is a zoo now. Too much activity and people are taking a full advantage of it going wildly OOC.

I had a pretty good RP with one Arms Dealer yesterday, so there's definately a niche which is worth fulfilling.

All in all with time the people will associate Connecticut = Arms.

People think it's perfectly fine as long as they use '//'.
I can bet that almost 30% of all messages in NY are with '//'..
Though still better then when it was OORP zone..

My 3 cents: Move out of New York.

Every new player /noob starts in New York.

You want to get your fine products sold to professionals, that are not going to waste your time with questions or trying to chew you down in price.

Professionals already know 'the game' and have an idea of a fair value.

Where??: UUmmm.....I dunno.....Texas...sure why Not......or London.

New Berlin is too close to pirate Jump holes and Kyushu is also kinda a long trip.

I'm all for the Weapons dealers being moved outa NY. I tired of seeing four or five arms dealers sitting outside Manhattan every time I log on. Still, I can always rally a Xeno attack wing and clear them out... But thats not sporting. Meh...

Anyway, it's about time Conneticut was more frequently used, or an of the other capitals for that matter. I'd say the Liberty lawful factions should increase the tax to 50mil... That might persuade them to go somewhere else.

i always force CR's armory's to have IMG ID and full rep...so if anybody wants to buy anything from us..well...green is the color we want...

about moving them out of NY i couldn't agree more...from time to time i move in NY to terrorize some, and really bothers me that i fight 3 police fighters, while 1k from me there is weapons dealer making announcement what he sells...and he has no fear for his ship (cause it is gentleman's deal not to shoot and storages or dealers)...

so moving out of NY is good idea...i heard that people in Kusari, Rheinland and Bretonia are in need of weapons too...

Personally, I think Pueblo Station would be one good place for the suggested Ageira dealers, as Pueblo is a major Ageira base and home to certain high powered civilian equipment. And I'm sure the various Junker bases would be good for people willing to sell to less than legal customers.

2 bombers with inferno and SN give no chance to arm dealer flee:) Of corse they need to be inkognito (maybe nicks hard to remeber like series of numbers or some pupular forms like H.U.N.T.E.R or shado.w)
