I was looking at the GB guns pretty closely last night and they look to use about the same energy to damage ratio as standard turrets. I might go as far to say that basic cruiser turrets are still slightly more efficient. The problem I saw is defiantly with the razors. Even though they would do to a cruiser what cruiser razors still do, make your load out weak by being inefficient. The problem is what Jinx pointed out, on a battle cruiser especially the Liberty one they would make an extraordinarily powerful shock ship that would be kind of sustainable. It would still be killed pretty easily by a cruiser setup to smash caps in a long fight.

The battleship point is totally valid. If you took it all the way up, I could totally see mortar salvos, but they would only be good against other big slow moving BS who would still have an advantage with more efficient class 10 guns with faster projectile speed.
