Okay guys.. little lesson in aerodynamics (yeah.. I took a physics class in college.. I had plans to join NASA back then)...

Aerodynamics is the "flow of air over a body". the smoother/sleeker the design, the better the air flow.

This kind of concept in space is ridiculous. It might help when flying through clouds, but you need MINIMAL aerodynamics to fly in space.

Guys, space may be "empty" by nature, but there *ARE* forces of resistance out there. Solar Winds, among other things. It is believed there are certain typs of gases in existance in space that cause the Absolute Zero phenomenon, as well as other things.

Anyway.. end of lesson. For homework, i want a two hundered page report on how aerodynamics affects your life....

Oh... look at Rheinland battleship - it's half size of a planet, still can fly through atmosphere and land safely. Although it's 10 times more fat than any atmosphere

Well, in all honesty the battleships are not meant to land on planets thats why theres a mooring station above docking rings they just park.

As for the chainguns personally just change the model and that will be kool. :crazy:

I voted keep them, it's a different kind of model for a different kind of gun - after all 33.33 refire is pretty special in FL. I don't think they're ugly, well not compared to some ships anyway. I think they look impressive on a fighter, like the torpedo.

I like em how they are now. But it also depends what you are changing.

If your just changing how they look, then ya thats cool.

But if you are changing there speed, and attack power. Then no, keep them how they are.
