Also, I just wanted to point out; No matter HOW rediculous a faction's lore might be, I can garentee you, there is ALWAYS a faction out there with lore more rediculous than theirs.
As far as gameplay goes, I'm not so concerned with how many capital ships a faction has inRP as I am about how many caps a faction fields in-game. Basically, CR could have a billion Kronies (yes, I shall now be calling Kronoseses Kronies) inRP, but I wouldn't get too bent out of shape about it unless they were ONLY ever using their super large capital ships in PVP engagements, and never took the time to fly around in their fighters.
I have no clue about how often =CR= uses capships on the server, but that's more of an ooRP concern, and seeing as this is a Mod discussion, I would highly suggest that CR maintain a population conter, that talks about how many Colonials there are left alive at any given moment, sort of like in Battlestar Galactica.

Ohhh, I see what you did there. Thing is, this is still a RP server, 'aight? So... how many caps should have a "group" (because it can't be called house or faction), after being exiled from their home system and forced to re-establish somewhere else. Don't forget that Coronado is a mean system. Barrier Gate could prove to be a very destabilizing element, especially for the civilian population... that is, of course if anyone here RPs the bad parts in their lore, not only the awesome bits.

Except it does, because I can guarantee that sooner or later you'll be using the number of capital ships the CR supposedly has to strong-arm someone during a discussion on what the CR is capable of. It'll probably happen just after you've declared war on someone new. :P
Yes, but because of winRAR, I am capable of squeezing an infinite number of things into a finite area. Take that, reality!
But, seriously. Two extra capships might be a bit off (you guys may want to look into that, I hear IMG don't like if when you use up their parking spaces with extra ships) but not drastically so. But then again, people who follow the CR lore a lot more than I do might want to look through the numbers, crunch a few digits, come up with a few addedums that make the lore more in-line with the current situation that CR is in. Like maybe buffing the initial settler amount, writing some lore about a high-tech fabrication technique that CR was able to develope but Sirians were not, or about how CR has recruited from places besides the initial colonial population. I dunno, really. I honestly do not know enough about the faction.
But yeh, don't be capwhores unless you're good at RP.
