Eva here,

They're idiots. All of them. *she takes a deep breath* okay... I'll try and keep it civil.

A Colonial scout showed up in Alpha. I and a few others ran a quick scout out to Tau-37 to make sure he was alone. He wasn't. Lots of Colonial capitals and a few snubs. The Maltese capitals in orbit around Malta flew through and engaged.

Death Runner hung back in Alpha waiting for more information which he sent me to gather. In my opinion we were being baited into a trap from the start. But esos idiotas charged in guns blazing anyway. Even after I'd paid Tau-23 two visits and informed Death Runner of the multiple hostile snubs waiting to enter the system and he subsequently warned them to disengage they continued to press their attack.

If the idiots won then they did so at an unacceptably high cost.

If not... well... idiots always deserve the death given to them.

I need a drink.

Eva out.

Standard Cardimine - Slaves run. I ran with Ms. Eva Garza, and some guy named Torro. Torro was a lunatic and ran cardimine to Manhattan when it was heavily guarded by Navy and Security Force patrols. I chose to take it to Rochester.

The Orange Dream

We took the standard Kusari route to Omicron Alpha via the Sigmas. We lucked out majorly when a handful of Corsairs appeared and payed no attention to us.

Gentlemen, ladies, my loyal outcast brothers, you have all served your nation proudly. The cardimine is spreading. Our influence is growing. The enemies of the Outcast nation are getting but a glimpse of the fear they will feel!.. You have all done well. As of this moment, any and all 81 Syndicate pilots and workers are considered notable members of the organization. With this, comes the granted audience any member wishes to receive with me and a free pass on paying any escorts. Torro will be paying everything instead.

Now then. I have a task for any and all who wish to conduct it. The task.. is quite simple. I want two things that I currently lack. These are cigars and wine. I require 400 units of each. Go out, and get me this. Whoever does or even partakes in this task will receive a fully paid villa. Any transports carrying 400+ units of an item will receive 5,000,000 in credits as well as the villa. Competition is bliss, no? First come first serve.

Regards,
Death Runner

-----SUBJECT: Cigars and Wine-----

Well, it's just as well I check my S.K.Y.PE. messages occasionally. It seems I almost missed out on a chance for a villa? Now that wouldn't have been to nice. I'm guessing there's space for a few 'housekeepers'?
Regardless, the Tepic is the best in your fleet, and I'm no slouch. We are currently moored at Seguro Refugio with 500 units of the finest Gailic wine, and 500 units of hand-rolled cigars, fresh from the Rhein. I know you said 400, but our cargo hold's in 500 unit sections, so it helps to hold everything in place if they're full. Consider the extra a freebie. I haven't started unloading anything yet, 'cos I'm not sure if you want it here or not.
Oh, and here's the cargo manifest, I wouldn't want any suspicion cast on my claim to that villa now would I? So, where is it, when can I move in?

Lieutenant Rodriguez from the Novus Spes here,

we require some supplies for Torino and our ships. I will attach a list of the goods to this transmission.
Of course there will be a payment for service; rather 7.500.000 SC.

We have a shuttle ready on Planet Malta, so you would have to deliver the goods there.
I await your response and hope someone can deliver that stuff.

Sacajawea out.

Attachment:
100 units each of the following product:

First I want to go on the record as saying we had it under control. Okay... that's done.

Bad news first: Enrico got arrested.

Good news: He got released without major incident.

We were doing a run to Liberty, things went pretty normal at first until Enrico picked up a cop in California just as we jumped. No sooner had we arrived in Liberty then he called in for back up. Three more policia showed up and the fighting started. Data, that new AI drone, showed up and jumped into the fray but it wasn't enough.

Enrico was getting hammered and surrendered... but not before order Data and I to high tail it back to Malta.

Now once more: we had it under control.

We moved to Texas and had a rescue plan mostly worked out for when they transported him to Sugarland. But then they just let him go. Idiots. We met up at Rochester and that's where we are now, waiting for his ship to get repaired.

As far as I can gather from what Enrico told me he didn't give them any useful information. Claimed his supplier was a "David Hale on Curacao" I can't believe they bought that...

We'll be back as soon as the repairs are done.

Eva out.

-----SUBJECT: Reports of my arrest(s) are greatly exaggerated!-----

Hola, firstly, thank you for the villa. I bought myself a lovely slave-girl to put some life in the place, but in the end I figured Eva's not gonna like that, so sent her back to the plantations. I'll just wait on Eva.

*Ahem*, sorry. Anyway, it's been to long since I've reported in, and a lot has happened recently. Firstly, as Eva has already reported, yes I was arrested, and yes I was released. And honest to god, the officer believe that David Hale was my supplier. I shared no other information, so don't worry about that. After a short stop on Rochester with the junker's... um, shall I say 'hospitality?' Data and I picked up some slaves and came home. An event-less trip.

Since then, I've started flying Cardamine to Buffalo for the Rouges, I daresay you're aware of their shrinking stockpile? Anyway, the most recent flight is one to note.

A fellow smuggler, an XTF slave liner if memory serves, told me that there was a wing of Freelancers making the Tau 23/29 jump holes dangerous for smugglers. I decided to head through Tau 31 to avoid them, and made it all the way to California with no incident through the jump holes. Once in California, I decided to make up for lost time and head down the lane to the Magellan Gate and then to Minor before heading to Buffalo via Texas. At the Magellan Gate though, I managed to pick up a copper, who followed me to Minor, and chased after me into the asteroid field where a cruise disruptor finally allowed him to catch up to me. Despite my efforts to the contrary, he just wouldn't believe that my cargo was in fact cryer-grade pharmaceuticals, and ordered me to drop it and pay a fine. At this point, I remotely activated Data, that AI of mine, through the S.K.Y.P.3. comms, and he began to make his way to me.

I should point out, I managed to keep the cop busy for a total of 10 minutes before an LSF agent arrived, and with no qualifications in manners, ordered the usual drop, pay and leave. We naturally couldn't do that, and headed for Alcatraz. Data was still not here at this point. With fire on my tail, I made it to Alcatraz where a rogue gunboat patrol (//NPC) destroyed the LSF ship, and a rogue light fighter took on the cop. The Tepic moored safely and the station's shields protected us.

A short while later, well, a couple of hours actually, long after Data had arrived, the Tepic was repaired, rearmed and ready to finish our shipment. We went through Texas as planned and made it to Buffalo with no further incident, which is where I am right now, about to head out with the Scintilla to return home.

Just let the record show, that the number of shipments I have made under the banner of the 81 Syndicate are numerous, and by comparison, these few failed arrests are almost non-existent. On top of that, none of these 'arrests' have actually succeeded.

I have concluded that the following punishment for Enrico Moreno is the best course of action for our organization. Enrico Moreno, captain of the Tepic, you are to pay a fine of 3.000.000 sirius credits to our bank, the 81-S|Thesaurus, to make up for lost time and are stripped of your capability to fly solo. From now on and until I say so, you must only make runs with the company of a fellow smuggler or rogue.

I expected more from you.. Do not disappoint me again. Being caught is not an option.

Origin: Transportvessel "Negotii.Furtivum"

Security guard 4. class Stanley Tweedle reporting in,

well, my commanding officer left the ship in Liberty so I'm filling out this report.

Today the Negotii.Furtivum returned from Liberty after staying there for a few days due to a navy examination. Rodriguez decided not to take people back to Malta, but instead picking up some luxury goods at Newark Station.
I guess that stuff also makes some people on Malta happy.

The journey was without any noteworthy situation until Tau 23. Six Lost Star ship were suddenly surrounding the ship. After a short conversation, I jumped the Firefly to Tau 37, and not long after that one of those 'persons' jumped as well, callsign was Nebula.|*

I decided to fly to Freeport 10, and act if the goods would go there. I'm pretty sure that ship was sent to check if the Negotii is enroute to Alpha. We're currently docked at Freeport 10, and will continue to Malta as soon as I am sure that no one follows us.

I'm adding the logs to this report.

Tweedle out.

Attachements:

Conversation in Tau 23:
Quote:[27.03.2012 22:37:09] Nebula.|*: Hello....
[27.03.2012 22:37:21] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Oh...good day.
[27.03.2012 22:37:31] Tavish.Degroot.|*: hmph. Nothing interesting.
[27.03.2012 22:37:40] Nebula.|*: I know your kind...
[27.03.2012 22:37:48] Party.Poison.|*: I've seen these guys with slaves before...
[27.03.2012 22:37:50] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: My kind? Oh sure.
[27.03.2012 22:38:13] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Slaves? Do you see any slaves here? You can come aboard. You fill find noone except the crew.
[27.03.2012 22:38:17] Nebula.|*: Your organisation brings slaves to Malta...and Cardamine back to New York. Isn't it true?
[27.03.2012 22:38:37] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Do they? Maybe some...some of them are not very intelligent...take every job they get.
[27.03.2012 22:38:39] Nebula.|*: I even have a visual proof of that.
[27.03.2012 22:38:49] Nebula.|*: And...
[27.03.2012 22:39:01] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: I heard the best payed jobs in this part of space you get from the outcast. Not really my kind of jobs though.
[27.03.2012 22:39:07] Nebula.|*: Transporting slaves....is not really...a 'job' or whatever.
[27.03.2012 22:39:24] Nebula.|*: It's an inhuman action...
[27.03.2012 22:39:25] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: And who says they're slaves? Aren't you just a little bit paranoid?
[27.03.2012 22:39:34] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Maybe it was just a passenger transport.
[27.03.2012 22:39:51] Nebula.|*: Do you really want to see the scan result of that ship?
[27.03.2012 22:40:01] Party.Poison.|*: You don't pack 'passengers' in that tightly
[27.03.2012 22:40:04] Nebula.|*: I am not playing poker with you...
[27.03.2012 22:40:08] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Do I look like someone who cares? Our pilots choose their jobs themselves.
[27.03.2012 22:40:21] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: I don't have anything to do with the others. I fly this ship, nothing more.
[27.03.2012 22:40:34] Nebula.|*: Then expect being treated like a bunch of careless people.
[27.03.2012 22:40:35] Party.Poison.|*: He's lying
[27.03.2012 22:41:03] Nebula.|*: Why should you do something different than the rest of you?
[27.03.2012 22:41:13] Nebula.|*: It sounds invalid to me.
[27.03.2012 22:41:14] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Seriously, I don't care about your stories.
[27.03.2012 22:41:24] Nebula.|*: It's a proven fact.
[27.03.2012 22:41:35] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Are you going to destroy my ship or let me go? I've got a job to do.
[27.03.2012 22:42:15] Nebula.|*: Since you are just trying to fool us...well...you can pass.
[27.03.2012 22:42:41] Party.Poison.|*: I would of roasted him on general principle.
[27.03.2012 22:42:43] Nebula.|*: But don't expect anyhing abou being treated like a normal man.
[27.03.2012 22:43:02] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Why so aggressiv? You say slavery is inhuman? You sound like bloody killers to me.
[27.03.2012 22:43:41] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: I guess you people think a bit about "black and white".
[27.03.2012 22:43:46] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Gentlemen, good day.

Conversation with Nebula.|* near Freeport 10:

Quote: [27.03.2012 22:44:09] Nebula.|*: For your organisation....we are the killers indeed. Killing humanity's slaves...the ones who are working for the Outcasts...
[27.03.2012 22:44:28] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: You also kill always the people onboard our ships, as I heard.
[27.03.2012 22:44:39] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Guess you're the one with the "inhumanity" here.
[27.03.2012 22:45:12] Nebula.|*: If I would care about your opinion...in terms of your organisation, I wouldn't even state such questions here.
[27.03.2012 22:45:41] Nebula.|*: Now tell me.
[27.03.2012 22:45:47] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: You care enough to follow me. What ya' want?
[27.03.2012 22:46:03] Nebula.|*: Oh...I don't trust you. That's all.
[27.03.2012 22:46:25] Nebula.|*: And you can't play poker well...as it seems.
[27.03.2012 22:46:28] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: And? I don't trust you as well.
[27.03.2012 22:46:50] Nebula.|*: Why should you? We are your nemesis if you pass with contraband.
[27.03.2012 22:46:53] Nebula.|*: Deal with it.
[27.03.2012 22:47:11] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: I see...the enforcers of justice.
[27.03.2012 22:47:34] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: How funny. This is paradox.
[27.03.2012 22:47:53] Nebula.|*: Rather of humanity...I guess you know why the Outcasts need slaves and why they want to spread the cardamine?
[27.03.2012 22:47:54] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: You kill and threaten people. You think that this is "justice", what you do, but it isn't.
[27.03.2012 22:48:18] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Just slaves...it would be so great if it would be so easy, right?
[27.03.2012 22:48:33] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Ever thought of...people going to Malta by their free will?
[27.03.2012 22:49:09] Nebula.|*: And...that's because you have to enslave them violently against their own will..? To make them believe they have to serve for-
[27.03.2012 22:49:11] Nebula.|*: Malta?
[27.03.2012 22:49:16] Nebula.|*: And the Outcasts?
[27.03.2012 22:49:20] Nebula.|*: I don't think so.
[27.03.2012 22:49:26] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Did you even ever speak to a single so called slave before?
[27.03.2012 22:49:41] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: They only one claiming that they're forced against their is YOU.
[27.03.2012 22:49:50] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: *their will
[27.03.2012 22:50:15] Nebula.|*: If you would know, from what they suffer...
[27.03.2012 22:50:41] Nebula.|*: And what the people on Malta do with them if others tell them something different...
[27.03.2012 22:51:05] Nebula.|*: They are forced to believe...brainwashed.
[27.03.2012 22:51:08] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Sounds like you know quite a lot. *shrugs*
[27.03.2012 22:51:25] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: So, do you really KNOW this, or just heard it from some drunk morons in a bar?
[27.03.2012 22:51:54] Nebula.|*: I wouldn't tell you this if I wouldn't work together with more than one ex-slave of Malta.
[27.03.2012 22:52:48] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Maybe they got brainwashed. Maybe they tell lies.
[27.03.2012 22:52:59] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: I've never seen it how it is on Malta, on you did not as well, right?
[27.03.2012 22:53:24] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: So we both know that stuff only from other people, and you can never believe someone else hundred percent.
[27.03.2012 22:53:46] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Which leads to the conclusion...that this discussion is senseless. We're both talking about stuff we don't know for
[27.03.2012 22:53:46] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: sure.
[27.03.2012 22:53:56] Nebula.|*: You never can trust anyone 100% anyway...
[27.03.2012 22:54:29] Nebula.|*: And well...
[27.03.2012 22:54:34] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: That is what i just said.
[27.03.2012 22:54:54] Nebula.|*: If you do not know about this for 100%, why do you do the dirty work for them then? Your organisation at least...
[27.03.2012 22:55:29] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle *sighs and leans back*: As I told you, our pilots choose their jobs themselves.
[27.03.2012 22:55:43] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: 'casts pay good, as i heard. And life in the outer worlds is pretty hard.
[27.03.2012 22:55:59] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: You take what you can get. Or you die.
[27.03.2012 22:56:15] Nebula.|*: And letting other people suffer for your money?
[27.03.2012 22:56:46] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: You do this as well.
[27.03.2012 22:56:53] Nebula.|*: You are just one of those usual, greedy people...who don't think about anything else than just money.
[27.03.2012 22:57:01] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: You kill people, you let them suffer. Whatever they have done, they are still humans.
[27.03.2012 22:57:10] Nebula.|*: Oh...we are not working for money...by the way...
[27.03.2012 22:57:27] Nebula.|*: And your words...
[27.03.2012 22:57:47] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Really? As far as I know, you're often around Java. I can smell the IMG involved in this.
[27.03.2012 22:57:48] Nebula.|*: Stop using them...there is already blood on your hands...I can smell it.
[27.03.2012 22:58:03] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Since the Colonial Republic vanished, and cannot longer do their dirty work.
[27.03.2012 22:58:20] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Blood on my hands? Mister, this is getting ridicoulus.
[27.03.2012 22:58:55] Nebula.|*: First of all, I am not a mister. Second thing is...that you deal with slaves and cardamine...what is alien material and-
[27.03.2012 22:59:04] Nebula.|*: therefore a threat for humanity.
[27.03.2012 22:59:17] Nebula.|*: It changes human people.
[27.03.2012 22:59:25] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Everything changes humans.
[27.03.2012 22:59:39] Nebula.|*: The Outcast's birthrate is decreasing, they need new people, so they get slaves.
[27.03.2012 22:59:57] Nebula.|*: And...about that changing...I mean physically...not psychologically.
[27.03.2012 23:00:23] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: A physical change also alters your mind.
[27.03.2012 23:00:36] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Think of loosing an arm, or getting a third eye. That would change you, right?
[27.03.2012 23:01:12] Nebula.|*: It wouldn't change my mind and thinking at all...and I already lost two arms and got over it.
[27.03.2012 23:02:04] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: That does not sound really convincing.
[27.03.2012 23:02:14] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Two arms, and you just dealt with it like a boss?
[27.03.2012 23:02:16] Nebula.|*: So stop trying to use selfish phrases for trying to prove your...not existing innosence.
[27.03.2012 23:02:54] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: We've never met before, and you still keep judging me.
[27.03.2012 23:03:01] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Who's the selfish person here?
[27.03.2012 23:03:04] Nebula.|*: If I wouldn't be your enemy...I maybe would tell you more...but for me...you are just a usual smuggler...dealing with cardamine
[27.03.2012 23:03:06] Death: Aya.Tollah was killed by Lukas.Morgan (Mine)
[27.03.2012 23:03:06] Nebula.|*: and slaves.
[27.03.2012 23:03:14] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: You sound like you know everything, and that you're always right.
[27.03.2012 23:03:21] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: This is sick, you should listen to yourself.
[27.03.2012 23:03:46] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: You've ever seen ME with slaves or cardamine?
[27.03.2012 23:03:53] Nebula.|*: Not yet.
[27.03.2012 23:04:17] Nebula.|*: And I didn't say anything about you carrying that...I was speaking of your organisation.
[27.03.2012 23:04:44] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Yeah, you didn't say anything about me carrying it, but still you called me a slaver with blood on my hands.
[27.03.2012 23:05:23] Nebula.|*: You will prove it as soon as you come back from Malta...I am sure of it...but that's just what I suppose...
[27.03.2012 23:05:34] Nebula.|*: Don't care about my presence though...
[27.03.2012 23:05:47] Nebula.|*: If you think you are taking the right way...
[27.03.2012 23:06:17] Nebula.|*: Take that way...we will be there to judge you again...in case you transport those things, that are questionable.
[27.03.2012 23:06:25] Nebula.|*: I think you know what I mean.
[27.03.2012 23:06:41] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: And who gives you the right to decide what is right and what is wrong?
[27.03.2012 23:06:50] Nebula.|*: I will leave you alone now. Don't do anything stupid and you are alright.
[27.03.2012 23:07:11] Nebula.|*: This debate about moral is irrelevant anyway...
[27.03.2012 23:07:23] Nebula.|*: Since you don't know me...nor do I know you.
[27.03.2012 23:07:32] Nebula.|*: And I will leave you now.
[27.03.2012 23:07:44] Nebula.|*: Take your way you think it's right.
[27.03.2012 23:07:54] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Indeed, it is irrelevant. You've already made your narrowminded opinion.
[27.03.2012 23:08:02] Nebula.|*: We will see if it really is when you are back in the Taus again.
[27.03.2012 23:08:15] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: I suggest you leave now. And bugger someone else.
[27.03.2012 23:08:29] 81-S|Negotii.Furtivum: Tweedle: Negotii Furtivum out *com channel closed*
[27.03.2012 23:08:30] Nebula.|*: We'll see about you....
