It's fake, I can tell by the pixels!

EDIT: But still a good point. Like my granddad would say: "You kid's are useless [s]puss[s/]... *pansies*, in my day we didn't backpack across Europe, we bombed the [s]sh[s/] Bejeezus out of it!"

I was formerly know as Spiritar.

It's been a while.

Your granddad is right.

That generation was a lot tougher than this one.

Granddad: "Oh I broke my finger! Oh well, bandage it and get back to work."

Grandson: "Oh I broke my ipad! I'm calling off work for four days, due to my utter hopelessness and despair at the massive misfortunate suckitude that is my life."

I will say this generation is pretty decent at blowing ish up though, so that's something I suppose.

:rtfm:Warranty is void on your iPad due to you taking it out of the packaging. Ask your grand-pappy how he managed with out one.

Also this generation is infactuated with death and killing. It's in everything we do, games that involve shooting ships/cops/bad-guys, movies involving violence (Cars Two for instance. A kids movie but some of the cars characters died from violence). There was a doco I watched not too long ago about todays soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq, soldiers thumping around in Humvees listening to rap and metal and getting that adrenaline from the acts of war they are committing. What ever happened to just playing soccer listening to Celine Dion??

Without what? An ipad?

I'm sorry. My brain no longer registers events that happened before such devices were available. It is all a white space. I'm actually quite convinced that existence did not exist before the invention of the internet, as some people here claim. This is obviously yet another admin/mod conspiracy to confuse us and leave our right temporal lobes in disarray.

I, for one, will not be sucked into this madness.:nono:

On an aside, my son just hit my daughter after watching cars 2. On his ipad.

Not to judge anyone's parenting skills, but just to point out, in the (butchered) words of Billy Connely, "[In the days before the internet] it was considered healthy to beat your kids to within an inch of their lives on a daily basis."

So, I should beat the crap out of them daily?

Hmmm, no.

It isn't because I disagree with the sentiment of stern discipline, it simply
is not necessary, as I already have an app for that.
