Im a pirate and ain't letting traders pass cheap. Im not using gunboats though...thats retarded. And you cant escape easily in a gunboat (not talking about pirating near Freital or similar places.)

EDIT: Also, if these 30 minutes of your life are important, I suggest doing something else than playing Freelancer. You chose this.

If you never wanna be caught by pirates, then run a chat-check in each system before jumping in to see what people are there. Yo should make a catalogue of every trader and pirate though, so you know who you are going to run into.

Always, when you try to become rich fast (mining & trading), you are gonna pay either in death or by paying (literally) to unpleasant and pleasant pirates.

I dont trade :cool:I have other means to acquire cash (codeguns, codeguns, transport-wrecks, codeguns, missions, codeguns, bounties).

Hell, some 10 or more wrecks that bring 5 transport turrets every day = more than 5mills for me. And I have >ZERO< expenses. Add some taxing and codegun selling to the mix and you see how Im dealing with it.

You're doing escorting wrong. Escorting works best when a fighter sticks at least one lane ahead of you to warn you of dangers. Any issues? Fly low that specific lane or something.
