This would be an opportunity for them to overhaul their RP to a more community minded approach, of course with nothing to lose they have every option to say "no" but then they'd lose an opportunity for improvement.

I agree ... but have certain bad feeling about it...
Manny factions really need "spring cleaning" and updates on weapons and ship usage...
Some factions need diplomatic relations update...
My only fear is when leader of any faction put proposal for public debate to receive community feedback that all will turn in flame war.... And all will stay as it was before...
Maybe I am wrong ...dunno ... seems like good idea though...

I think some rules of engagement may be required before this idea goes ahead, no mentioning of specific events, just sticking to general ideas concerning RP issues. It is important that these factions would get the same fair treatment we should expect for any new faction proposal, so constructive criticism and positive suggestions.

Not mentioning events and incidents could help big time if this gets a green light...
Strictly RP, weapons, ships and diplomacy issues should be discussed...

It's a good idea, when do we run this past admin?
It's been run past one Admin already, this would not have even been suggested had I not had that backing, I was rather concerned that I'd meet a wall of flames and broken bottles. So far so good.
