This certainly looks interesting, but you don't have real basis for in-game activity. Unfortunately there're close none artifact smugglers nowadays. The same applies to counterfeit software, not sure what else you might be interested in. Those "holosculptures", maybe - still they're unpopular...

Not really. Since it's archeological, could work as the only people allowed to transport the artifacts legally or something -- but for that it would need to be bigger than just Rheiland and would need some dealing with local authorities.
