Doug Crane checked the paper. It was true! "My god! Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, it seems my typer has made a serious error, I must go give him a flogging after this. I would like to change that rule to Mollies have full patrol rights and full use of Dublin as long as it is not damaging Bretonian economy. Sound better to you chaps?"

"That sounds positively spot on! Jolly good show."

Drake hovered his pen over the paper, waiting to see if any other revisions were to be made

Devon began to think.
"Bretonian police and armed forces have the right to claim Dublin as a part of the rest of the Bretonian system infer-structure, with the exception of our presence. Bretonian lawfully affiliated staff and freelancers have right of way to be there."
Devon changes his water out for whiskey, and continues to listen.

Doug Crane spoke up, "I believe there is one more thing to add, and this must be approved by all leaders present.

7. Bretonia will have no control over Union of Gold politics, only as far as a protectorate, preventing Dublin from being captured by overwhelming hordes of enemies that might come. If Bretonia wishes to challenge our politics, a meeting may be arranged to discuss

Devon thinks to himself for a brief period. Fine tuning is still required.

"Also, if Bretonia wishes to challenge our politics in any way, an immediate meeting must be arranged for discussion.

I believe that is fair enough, without question. Its not that hard to attend such a meeting if it is of such importance."

"This is Meredith Summers, reporting live from the Essex, where a historic turn in diplomacy has just been unveiled: The preambles of the documents, while rather inconsequential to the actual terms, are a great Ceremonial gesture by the Queen and the BAF, and will hopefully be acceptance by the Molly Interim Government."

We, Her Majesty Carina I, Queen of Bretonia and Dublin, Empress of the Taus, Sovereign of Dundee, Chester, Londonderry, Lewis, Orkney, Inverness, Poole and Salisbury, do relinquish our claim on the Dublin and Londonderry Systems, and all the regions and installations within, and we grant lawful hegemony of this system and its environs to the Legitimate and Recognized Council of the Molly Interim Government, provided that said Interim Government, which we do hereby recognize as our peer, returns the Belfast Colony to our lawful domain, and with the intention of effecting a new nation of Dubliners, establishes government that rules as the aforementioned population views fair and just, in a manner in accordance with the recognized civilian governments, and that establishes standard and reasonable protections for domestic and foreign property and exchange. Furthermore, We grant said population full rights to extend their mercantile fleets into or through our dominion, and to do business and effect trade between our peoples.

Carina I.

The Admiralty Board of the Bretonian Armed Forces does hereby establish the following terms and conditions as applied to a mutual defense treaty between the Bretonian Armed Forces and the Union of Gold military force of the Molly Interim Government during the transitional period: That the Bretonian Armed Forces grants the Union of Gold access to the following of its installations: The Battleships Essex for purposes of liaison, and MacDuff for the purpose of maintaining the defensive field. That the Bretonian Armed Forces recalls its activities in Dublin to the Battleship Essex, as described as the Gatekeeper of New London. That the Bretonian Armed Forces will respond to any requests for assistance from the Union of Gold with utmost haste. That the Molly Interim Government will turn its hostage program over to the Bretonian Armed Forces. That the Molly Interim Government will strive to effect a civilian government in keeping with the views and desires of the Dublin populace, and the Bretonian Armed Forces be kept appraised of said process.

Signed:[font=Trebuchet Ms]
Commodore Richard Edward Windsor, Duke Albion, 73rd for the throne, and Signatory Liaison of the Admiralty Board

Devon spoke sitting in boredom, stirring his water with his straw.

"I want to get out of this conference as much as the next person, so I'm calling another motion. We either take a tea break and eat somthing, or sign the damn papers before us, and go back to making profit, and killing Corsairs."

"And wheres the bloody water jug!"

"This is a historic day, but I must now take my leave for a month long trip, I am extemely pleased to have finally brought peace to Bretonia and the Union. I only wish I could stay to see the first steps of the peace, but I have more pressing matters. Good bye my friends, lads, keep up the good work! Make sure you replace me for the time I am gone." Doug Crane shook the hands of all the high ranks and walked out amongst enourmous bouts of cheering.

A news reporter sporting a black suit asks the group a question.

Will the Bretonians help the UOG in the current war with The Colonial Remnant?

Also will it only be so that they will only help the UoG if The Colonial Remnant are in Dublin(Bretonia Space)?

The News Reporter anxiously waits for a reply...

A haggard Commodore Windsor stepped forward, nodding to the group:
"The Admiralty has already been in a state of war with the IMG and its subsidiary, the Colonial Remnant. The Remnant refuse to operate within the laws of the queen's space, and are involved with both the Corsair and Kusari Nations. We are, and will continue to, engaging the Colonial Remnant to the best of our abilities, in any region we are deployed to."
