Starflier (LF) and CSV (Freighter) both cruise at 350, too, but it's not a bug. Since they're starter ships, they don't get the buff.

But yes. LFs and Freighters got speed boosts, and apart from a few specific bugs which, as far as I know, have already been fixed, nothing got changed reverted back to 350. Don't know where you picked that up.

ok ok guys no raging for a simple question.

Not many ever use a freighter (not a transport) or a light fighter so they don't know. I just read somewhere the Lightfighters just got a speed nerf (in the last 2 days) back to 350. I also wondered if this affected freighters too.

If im asking an offensive question I'll log on tonight for a few seconds, hit the cruise, and find out anyway.

no, freighters and LF's still have the extra speed.

There *was* a bug reported in January that if you do a /restart miner you ended up with a surveyor LF, but with a basalt power core and 350 speed. Problem solved by going to Bethlehem and repurchasing the surveyor.

Not sure if this was ever fixed, but that could possibly be the source of the rumor you heard.
