No one worries about it since, if people wouldn't look at the player list or log when someone is yelling in an emergency chat, there would be a lot less encounters and group fights.

and oddly enough that was the first time I helped some pirates normally i'm shooting at them

You put BAF in the 2nd line of your 2nd paragraph, in the first post of this thread.

Dab isn't in baf and i can tell you, if it weren't completely new guys, they knew that you're an enemy of the crown.
Also, skype EM chanals are 911 of Freelancer. It's as if you'd call for help in ingame chat, except that you can reach people not playing. Everyone does it.
