I'm waiting patiently =) Sent him what I think is an awesome backstory for my future character if i'm accepted.

Anyone have screenshots of the scorpion gunboat though? I havent been able to find one in game, havent seen anyone with one, and havent been able to find pictures on the site here.

They're blurred for effect, but you should be able to still make it out. Its really pretty, looks kind of like a black squid thingie with wings. Startup a LAN server, and use flhook to get you to Wilderness II (or just start people neutral and with 500 million credits). Its REALLY pretty, although you might have to trek or beam out to the Ravine/Xerna for turrets. Wilderness bases are pretty scarce on equipment... we don't even get ammo...

I really hope the wild accept me, being able to RP both a nomad and a human... and a 'living' ship on top of those... would make for some amazing RP and chat.

Speaking of which, I need a little bit of help with names for my character's story. I have the main character name, and a basic background/history - but I need a nomad name... if they even have names. I want the two entities to be seperate but using the same body - the host, unlike most humans, is a willing one, who before joining with a nomad viewed them as spirits in space.

I just cant think of any name that sounds nomad-ish, and to be honest I dont even think they use names (other than for formal player references on the server).

As for the story, due to the host being willing I'm assuming the nomad within would view their relationship as symbiotic rather than parasitic - both beings retain their self, their minds, their conscience, but share one body. I'll elaborate on that with the story later, mixing human and nomad culture into the character as much as possible while showing distinctions between the two.

I'm being vague on purpose though, I dont have everything sorted out yet and I want it to be a good read when I finally post it =)

Check the Wild faction status page, Das Wilde use the names of who they were based off- namely, Rheinlanders. Here's a linky to help find some first names, I'll go find the Wikipedia thing for last names in a second.

Currently, some of our names include pseudonyms (Prime, though generally I wouldn't have more than one pseudonym), altered mythological or mythological names (Rheingold), a similar convention to the RM with German military personnel (Otto Kretchmer), German terms (Wesen), expansions to existing characters who sometimes themselves are based on something (Alexander Topf) and existing character (Alex Cummings).

Anyways, to sovereign - i already have the human's name, just trying to find something different for the nomad within to differentiate the two personalities/beings.
