Constructive criticism: First try to step over Rheinland flag. It is good for RM/RFP or a team which origin is not clear but for Daumann not really necessary. Same about the colors - black and green. Use other ones. I understand you wanted to make a very rheinlandish logo but you kill it with this will. If you create a new logo, Be it really new and forget that "D" what is ugly. Be simple and elegant, like a real megacorp's logo. Of course if the customer not really demanding - seems the others lost their eyes and they arent - you can pass over anything.
I have to agree with Wolf here, one dude comes up with his own design, in this case D with some "add-ons", and the rest of the peeps try to come up with "something new" using his idea.

Yeah i get that all the time with my work, i find it flattering.
Plus i just added these as an idea for Anomander i dont want money for them.
