He then purposefully lays the datapad in clear sight. Ensuring it was seen by anyone coming to the table, especially of the female variety. It was a tactic he had picked up from the many women in the New Tokyo bar's he frequented before succumbing to the delicacies of not being a man whore.

Etsu Ando read the incoming message on the screen of her communication desk on her ship the Samura|-Ikoma.
'Hmm', she mumbled in herself 'an employee convention, never been at one but it could be interesting.'
Etsu wasn't the type for conventions because she was too apolitical to listen what the 'high ups' had to say.
She smiled secretly and took the invitation, not even thinking about what kind of clothes she had to put on. A normal working suit of Samura without any decorations should also do. Because she hadn't any decorations it didn't mean that she had a heart for Samura, no, she was just a female of the working class.

She packed her suitcase and off she was.

After a while she arrived near the famous Todai-ji. Cool as she is, she was a little bit surprised about it. Wondering, 'So this is the Todai-ji!'
As she was inside she felt some eyes pointing at her. 'Just stay calm', she mumbled again into herself, 'they don't know you and you don't know them. Think positive'.
Etsu saw an old man and a young girl sitting near the bar, she had her thoughts about it'¦
After she found a small table in a shady place a geisha came to her and asked if she want have something to drink.
With a friendly smile Etsu looked up at the geisha. 'Do you have some cooked water and some Kusarian green tea for me and maybe some rise cookies with it', Etsu answered.
The geisha informed her that there were also comfortable private tea rooms but Etsu rejected the invitation, 'No thank you this place will do'.
After a few minutes she enjoyed her green tea and she was actually waiting if somebody came to her table and started a conversation.

Meanwhile, Ichiro was engaged in the conversation. "Oh, stories?" he said. "I have a countless number. One time I beat back a dozen of those nomads with but my cane. It was steel at the time though, back in 800. And the aliens were tougher back then, too."

Double meanwhile, Takao Hiyashi, esteemed junior member and Junyo fish connoisseur, was also at the event. He arrived after many others since Nagano was quite the flight for his Spatial. As he did enter the main area, he noticed Etsu Ando drinking tea alone and walked over to the booth.

"Konnichiwa," he said, smiling.

Etsu looked up from her cup of green tea and saw a young man standing beside the table were she was sitting at.
"Oh, hai, konnichiwa...", a small smile appeared on her colered lips.
Etsu looked at the name which was written on the member card on the jacket.
"...Takao Hiyashi, nice to meet you", she nods her head. Was this good or was it better to stand up bow?, she thought.
"Please sit down if you want, or have you seen already some one else to talk with?"
Wasn't she a little bit to fast to invite a handsome young unknown man at her table...

You could say that.... Perhaps the only one who's ever managed to make me keep it in my pants if you get what I'm saying.

He laugh a little and gives Sato a knowing look.

Hai, she's a special friend alright.

Now on her third bottle of sake she felt a bit light headed, but thought to herself, her crew would be fine, they wouldn't need her. So she ordered her next bottle and continued to converse with the old mans tales... " so how old are you really?"

Etsu looked at the young girl and the old man near the bar.
She didn't understand at all this kind of women. It was obvious that this young girl had taken much to much alcohol.
Etsu had even more respect for the gheisas who were working here. "How is it possible that Samura has this kind of personnel?", she said sofly, "doesn't Samura check, so once in a while their personnel?"
Still mumbling in her self, "A high ranked officer may never be in this kind of situation. They have to be an example for the whole crew or organisation. And the old man, he must know it also!"

She noticed that Takao was still near her and she hoped that he didn't heard her. No he couldn't. Infact the music was to load to hear her mumbling.
Shall I take some more tea or...
