Dr. Cornelius nods to the waiter. He takes the glass and the bottle, and heads toward one of the lounges. There he waits for Richard, who comes with his glass of wine and a cigar between his lips. Then after both men, the human and the primate, have taken a seat, Dr. Cornelius says:
"Richard... this is no sudden interest but i have to go into greater detail now to explain. You know i am a man, a scientist, i am a ethnologist and psychatrist from a planet, where the ones, you humans call nomads, are quite common in the space around. We never had ships to cruise through the open space, and most of us have no interest in these things. But different to Your kind we never feared them, and they never harmed us. They don´t visit planets, we only knew them from satellites in orbit of Primus. And if we hear humans speaking about them, we all time have to remember, how aggressive Your kind can be, if You want to reach a goal. So we don´t trust Your stories about them.

Now i know, they can act really aggressive too but i am fascinated by them, as they are so completely different to us, to all mammals. And since i am working aboard the Deadcat i use my chances to learn more about them. Maybe some day there will be a chance to live more friendly together in this galaxy."
He sighs, "We from Primus don´t believe in warfare. Peace is our duty."

Don't have more than 2 doses if you are flying to Freeport XXI through that mine field my friend... was what Paco, Perpignan Freeport's nox dealer had said to Gypsie as they ended the transaction and were waving goodbyes to each other in Rousillion. Now the young reporter understood why. Luckily, the Rotten Apple's armor had been improved lately, so the real explosions (not the ones going on inside of Gyp's head) hadn't torn the Conference apart.

At the hangar, maintenance technics told him he had to wait for at least twelve hours for the repairs to be completed. The drug, for his mental health's sake, would have worn off by then.

Good Goddess I'm thirsty! said he. I think I'll hit the bar. This close to Gallia, there must be a blonde or two to help me pilot the rest of my trippin.

He walked through the corridors with the strangest sensation of being under low gravity. His footsteps were long and slow, and each time he pushed the floor down with his feet, his body seemed to lift up in the air. After what seemed a longer walkabout than Dorothy's through the golden road to Oz, he reached what looked like the bar's entrance.

He ducked instinctevly when the voices in the big room reached an audible level, and hid behind the door's wall to concentrate on what was being said. He knew that the language being used was not foreign to him, yet he couldn't understand any full phrase, just separate words which sounded quite trippy as the voice tone of the people speaking pitched up and down like a rollercoaster.

Richard..... I'm a mammal.... We don't have any Black Grog K'hara.... My flip is Gallic tokens....

He peeked through the door's angle to see who was speaking, and saw a dressed monkey shaking it's limbs in the air as if it were giving an explanation. He immediately hid again and he braced himself for irreparable madness. Then, still out of the vision of the people in the bar, on the other side of the door, he shouted:

GOOD HOLY GODLY FEMALES! THIS GALLIC RECIPE IS INDEED POWERFUL! EITHER I AM RIGHT NOW SEEING THE FULL FNORDS, OR GODDESS IS TROLLING ME IN AN EPIC FASHION!

Before anyone was able to say a word, Dr. Cornelius opens his mouth for a big laugh. Then he says: "holy bananas, who is this man? Richard, you look as you would know him. Please ask him to put his feet under this coffee table and order a banana split for this guy. He seems to need one..."

Richard makes a sign towards Gypsie to join the conversation. While Gypsie is still uncertain what to do, Richard Looks at Dr. Cornelius and shakes his head.
Well i know this one indeed. He is unique like we all are in some kind of way. But about the k'hara's. i think we could better wait a littlebit with that till my Friend decides if he will come join us or not. Also its up to you if you want to share your views about this towards him.

Richard takes some of his fine Gallic wine and looks towards the shouting man he just notified to come... What would he do?

Gyp peeked again. The guy talking to the dressed monkey was clearly inviting him to join the conversation. Being cautious, Gyp decided to study the situation a bit more before joining them at their table, so he sat somewhat far from them and took out his skratchbook. He pretended to be writting some important stuff but he was obviously staring at the inter-specific conversation. In all his life, the only 'intelligent' beings he had encountered had been humans. He hadn't ever even seen a Nomad ship, said to be common in Baffin, and taking into account the heavy state of altered conciousness he was in at the moment, prudence seemed to be the best way to go.

The bartender approached him and offered something to drink.

Just plain water from Gran Canaria, and peanuts. I'll be joining those people there in no time anyways. As soon as I figure out if they'd chew me alive or not... By the way, that IS a dressed, parlant monkey, am I right?

A bleep from Gyp's intercomm device thingie frightened him to death, so he approached it's button panel untrusting it a bit. Finally, he managed to read the message. It was Dr. Mojo reminding him his mission at Freeport XXI. With haste he grabbed the bartender's hand and asked him in a desperate voice:

Where can I find Richard Cole?! I have an urgent message for him from Dr. Mojo!

The bartender, kind of surprised by the reporter's strange mood, pointed at the man speaking to the dressed monkey. Gyp stood from his seat and went to where they were talking.

Hey you! Are you Richard Cole? Hey listen up coz I dunno if I will remember this for too long. Dr, Hodge Van Mojo, Second Apostle of Eris and blah blah blah, sent me to tell you that he needs you to meet him as soon as possible at Ravenhurst Watch. He's having some guests and needs your advice on some things.

After letting all those words come out fast from his mouth, he turned to the dressed monkey and offered a handshake. Turning his head a bit to one side, as if not quite understanding reality itself, he said:

Gypsie Skripto, Editor of the No Buns / No Cabbages Reports, a pleasure to meet you..

"Well excuse me a moment. Have to see what they will need from me at Ravenhurst." he finishes his drink. He stands up and is going to call Dr. Hodge to see what Richard can do for him.

In the meantime both Dr. Cornelius and Gypsie Skripto are sitting at the table. Looking towards each other.. While Richard is calling he sees Dr.Cornelius say something. But he cannot hear it. What would he say?

While Richard leaves the room, Dr. Cornelius bows to the man in front of him and grabs his right hand: Hello and kallisti, Mr Scripto, i am really pleased to meet you, as i have read some of your reports and was wondering about the person behind it. I am working as medic aboard the Deadcat, Carl Bergmann´s ship. So if you want, take a seat here and drink with me. I am sure, we can have a nice time here, although Richard is gone."

Gyp watched as the hair in Dr. Cornelius' hand changed colors, from violet, to green, then orange, with total amusement. Then, realizing it was the nox, shaked his head and looked to the Ape's eyes. He extended his left hand while still shaking his right, and started touching Dr. Cornelius' face. This one didn't seem to understand what was going on, but also he didn't seem to be angry.

Sorry... had to see if it was a mask... Where do you come from my hairy friend? Are there more like you in Sirius? Or do you come from a different place like Hela and Theo? And most importantly... you are a doctor, a medic... Do you know of any antidote for nox? I don't think I can have a civilized chatter while tripping my mind out of my arse.

Eric Stone is heading back from a mission... While flying the Themis he sets course to Freeport XXI. "Kallisti, here is Eric Stone speaking. Can i get persmission to dock?" its quiet for a moment.. "Kallisti Captain Eric Stone. Good to see you back. It is currently busy at our docking bays. Please stand by for a moment." "Thank you. I will wait further instructions." Some minutes go by. He sees some traders passing by and docking on the station. He lights a smoke and then suddenly.. "Captain Eric Stone you are allowed to dock. Please use docking bay C." Eric Stone starts the docking sequence after this last transmission.

After the disabling of the engines of the Themis.. Eric Stone puts down his smoke and heads to the exit of the ship. Just when he exits the ship he meets an engineer. "Kallisti, does your ship need any repairs?" Eric looks to the engineer and smiles.. "Kallisti, well i could use some refills as the cruise disrupters are littlebit low." the engineer nods "Well i shall make sure they are fully stocked again." "Thank you, sent the bill to Richard Cole." the engineer looks strange towards Eric. Then Eric is going to smile and he heads towards the bar. For some relaxing..

He opens the door of the Bar.. He looks around a littlebit and then start to walk to the bartender. Wich sees him arriving allready. He sits down the chair.. "Kallisti, Eric i guess the usuall? Or do you want something else to drink?" Eric looks at all the different bottles.. and notice a bottle standing in between..

he cannot reminds himself ever seen it before. "Well make me a glass of that bottle. Never seen it before is it a bit good?" The bartender looks to the bottle. grabs it and pours in a glass. In the meantime he responds "It is just brought in. Its a gift from the Benitez and well i have not had the time or pleasure to drink it yet. But i have heard it has a great taste. Might try it after work today." the bartender gave the glass to Eric. "CHEERS!!" he drinks the glass empty in a matter of seconds. "That tasted damn good! I think it has some lemons and apricots within it. Pour me another one please." the bartender nods and pours another glass of this fine bottle. "You did just miss some screaming guy here who was impressed by that hairy creature over there. Even holding hands as we speak.." The bartender points to the two holding each other hands. Or so it seems. Eric turns his head and looks at the two sitting on the table..
