rofl. Talking about mod changes. The core change was the new administration in conjunction with the banning of key players who made this place run active. Now you are left with a bunch of losers (like the guy above me) who know nothing about running a Faction and the result is that instead of 75% or more of all online players being Faction-tagged, you have at best, 10% with more Factions dying by the day. Mod changes, no. Player changes.

Atmosphere is pretty much the same as it always has been. Selective memory tends to blot out the horror stories surrounding the Harris honeypot and the Diamond/Niobium run.
The reason there were less rule violations during .83 is 1) there weren't any formal rules and 2) there were less people. Rose tinted glasses are a dangerous thing. They stop you seeing where you're going.
There was more fun and more freedom before 4.85. End of story. Goodbye.
I was actually an RP server back then. You flew whatever, and RPd how you got it. Was less PvP, and more RP. No ZOI's, and one hell of alot less factions, and 0 factions that were invite only.
