im thinking should not make it openly editable more like add certant users to be able to edit it

I will think about that. I wanted to start pretty "open", so people wouldn't feel reluctant to participate.

you could also make a forum for it so they type it in a forum and puts it in the sheet its an idea

Yep.. thats the list I started off with... then added System and Location for the bases that I knew. I also made a uniform format for the commodities.

I'm pretty sure I can't.. thats why ... for now I will keep it a semi-public Google document. (only people that have the link can edit).
I will make regular backups, to have some insurance against lolwuts... (hoping I'm using the right word here.

If you have a site you can make the spreadsheet viewable there to in different ways editable or viewable
^_^ mayba make a good site and play around with it abit
