'What are y-' began David, stopping to watch Keith charge towards Danny with a look of pure rage.

'What are you talking about Marg?' he asked.

Before she could reply, there were two gunshots from the other side of the bar. David turned to see Keith with blood pouring out of both legs on the floor. David watched as Danny holstered his gun and walked calmly out of the bar. He chuckled slightly.

'Bad idea to mess with Danny, Keith. You will always come off worse!' he called. 'You were saying Marg?'

He watched as David a little bit with the girl then sagged into his seat giving a quiet yawn he would just use his seance of hearing to listen what was going on but soon he got sick of it fast enough, he reached back streatching and taking a ear piece something a agent would use putting one in each ear, turning up the volume so that it would easily be heard from a fair distance away seeming to want to drown out the sounds of everything else as a song (Nickleback '€“ Next contestant) played any one sitting next to him might have as well had the other ear phone in and have it up a considerate amount. He pulled his hood over his head and draped it around to hide his face and looked to be sleeping.

Telling Keith that he would be back inthe bar if he wanted to talk. He re-entered the bar and sat down in a place he could scan the whole room. Taking off his Tactical gear and laying it next to him.

Under his militray style clothes, he looked more like a brute, with huge muscles, shaven head whith a thin goatee, it apeared he left his gun in medical, making him unarmed, but a sharp eye would be able to spot a large knife hidden in his boot.

[font=Garamond]Dervin's arrival in the bar wasn't noticed. The man wasn't well known amongst these Rogues.
At least those that he had sent to round up a crowd had managed nicely. The bar was packed
with dirty faces and drunken thieves. He even spotted a few of the crew and even outsiders.

"Good, they'll carry the news," He whispered to himself, unlimbering the pistol in his
waistband. He pointed the gun at the ceiling and squeezed the trigger gently. The room
erupted with noise and the smell of the charge. The social roar that had filled the bar was
now silent and all eyes were on the shooter.

Without a word, the Rogue climbed onto the nearest table, kicking the drinks from it before
addressing the crowd.

"I am Dervin Malfient, and I've come to claim the title of Crime Boss."

The banter that had previously died down erupted into a new level of fury and questions,
again, Dervin raised the pistol and unleashed a second blast into the ceiling.

"Sylpheed is gone. The Underboss you know as Clif Thurston has been plotting to kill him.
I uncovered this information and attempted to warn Sylpheed. But before Clif was able to
reach him, he was captured by the Liberty Navy. Sylpheed, meanwhile, fled the attempt on
his life, as he's done before. I've returned in Sylpheed's personal Barghe--"

"It's true!" The interruption came from one of those that had met Dervin at the dock.

Dervin swung the pistol towards the man and put a round between his eyes. The smoking
corpse fell to the floor, spraying those nearby with blood and bits of tissue.

"Anyone else care to interrupt me? Good. Sylpheed is gone, and it's the fault of Clifford
Thurston. I am here to clean up the mess. Firstly, I'm placing a sizable bounty on Clif for
his involvement. Secondly, someone buy me some wine, I've had a long day, and I'm not
about to end it sober."

[font=Times New Roman]Nathan walked into the bar for only the second time in his life. He was no more comfortable this time than he had been the last, but at least he no longer had to worry about running into Sylpheed. Or Clif, for that matter... Nathan thought. He had thought it strange that Clif would try to usurp Sylpheed, but he knew better than to go sticking his nose where it didn't belong, lest someone break it.

He didn't immediately recognize any of the bar patrons, but few seemed interested in his arrival anyway. He did notice a few disgusted looks from a number of them, however. Many of them hadn't taken the news about his position as Underboss very well. Frankly, he couldn't blame them. Who was he to be given such a prestigious position?

Nathan made his way to a table and ordered a Bretonian Port. He'd taken a liking to them ever since he ordered one on his last excursion to California. He pulled out a small datapad from his pocket and started typing. He must have lost track of time, as the next thing he knew the bartender was calling him back up to the counter to get his drink. Nathan was a bit confused as to why the bartender couldn't have simply brought Nathan his drink, but then again, this wasn't exactly Padua. Alcatraz's pub was little more than a place for petty thieves to get drunk and get into bar fights. He shouldn't have expected five-star service.

"The hell are you doing here?" A drunken Rogue said to Nathan from the next table over. "Hm? Oh, I was asked by Dervin to meet him here." Nathan replied. "What, you think you're so high and mighty, Mr. Underboss? What makes you so important?" Nathan could tell that nothing he said would deter this man. He was just drunk and looking for a fight. Since there was no way around it, he might as well have some fun with it. "Who are you to ask that, anyway? As you said yourself, I'm an Underboss. You would be smart not to question me." Nathan stood and couldn't help but smirk. "Why you son of a--" The man took a wing at Nathan, who promptly stepped out of the way. The drunken idiot collapsed forward into the table. Nathan quickly grabbed his drink from it before it gave way under the large man's weight. Nathan rolled him over with his foot to find him unconscious. Well, that was fun while it lasted. He finished his drink with one gulp and placed the glass on the counter on his way out. [i]Next time I might not be so lucky as to fight a drunk Rogue. I should be more careful. He wandered down the dimly lit hallway searching for Dervin's office. It was about time for their meeting.

Dervin waited for the uproar that never came. He didn't expect his ascension to go so smoothly. While
reloading his gun, he watched a drunken old Rogue pass out taking a swing at his newest Underboss. He
laughed to himself and strolled over to Nathaniel.

"So, how's the new job treating you?" He asked with a grin. "It gets better. Probably."

[Tomtomrawr]

His second visit to Alcatraz in a month. Roger Claymore rarely visited the same place so regularly, especially one so out of his way. His area of pirating was the Omegas, Dublin and the Taus. Nowhere near Liberty. But Roger liked to keep his connection to the Rogues alive and strong. He would always be one of them, deep down. That's why he always said he was "spreading the Rogue spirit". The pirates of Sirius could learn a lot from the Rogues.

But the reason Roger came back to Alcatraz again was for the view of California. It reminded him of the few times he had actually pirated on the trade lanes on the system. And when nothing was happening, staring at Mojave or California Minor or the ice fields. Reminded him of his younger years.

And he had also come to check on the politics of the Rogues. He rarely cared, but he had heard some things which were of some internet. Sylpheed going into hiding. Clif being arrested. The littl' bugga didn't even pass on ma idea...

But if anybody cared if Roger was there, then he'd talk to them. But if not, then he'd just have a drink and a steak and enjoy the view. The bar gave its usual aura, smelling of drinks and urine and burnt gunpowder. Roger took in a deep breath, trying to determine how old the gunpowder was. Not too old at all.

He spotted a few groups. Most of them were drunk Rogues having the time of their life, telling stories and playing drinking games. He spied two men sat at a table, having a conversation that wasn't slurred by being too drunk. An unconscious man lay close to the table. Roger grinned and took it all in, then moved toward a table by the window, and stared out at the view with relaxed eyes. He expected no problems with his visit.

David was shocked. He knew that Clif had been a little off lately, but he never expected something like this. A new underboss, and a new Crimeboss on the same day?

David thought he had better make a good impression, which must keep him from receiving a bullet himself.

'Oi, Dervin!' He called across the room.

'What?' He replied, glaring at David with a look of steel.

'Catch!' David called, grabbing the half drunk bottle of wine from Margaret, shoving the cork back inside, and lobbing it across the room at Dervin.

'Enjoy it.' He said, as Dervin caught the bottle before it smashed.

[font=Garamond]Dervin turned in time to snatch the falling bottle from the air, looked at it, and nodded approvingly to
David. Malfient had always been a fan of wine. It supplemented the taste of cardamine so nicely. He
pulled the cork and sniffed. Not a particularly fantastic Gallic vintage, but this was Liberty, and a Rogue
base at that. Couldn't be expecting lavish drinks. He took a long pull from the bottle and again saluted
David. Good kid, that one, Dervin thought to himself, suppose I'll keep him.

There were too many Rogues in the bar. The noise level had risen to the point where it was impossible to
exchange a word, not that he had anything further to say. Normally, he wouldn't mind the activity, but this
was due to all the mercenaries that had been keeping his crew bottled up. Dervin himself had run into a
few, though none had yet managed to collect on his ships. Lately, the activity had dwindled, but still, the
Rogues sat plastered to their seats and drank instead of flew. Too many traders were getting free passes
through California. "I'm going to have to do something to light a fire under this lot's collective asses,"
he mumbled quietly. Dervin finished the bottle and shook some orange powder from a bag in his pocket.
He used his knife to form a line of it and snorted the cardamine. "And now... time to do some flying," he
said with a new zest.

[Tomtomrawr]

Third time. Must of been a record for Roger Claymore as he ordered the same drink and same food at the same table with the same view of the California system. This time he was hoping to meet with Dervin, the new Crime Lord. The rat Clif hadn't passed the idea onto Sylpheed or Dervin or anybody. Probably would've passed it off as his own anyway.

But Roger relished the opportunity to return to Alcatraz once again. Be with his people, if only for an hour or so. He had returned the Artificial Sunset to the Rogues as he didn't need it, and was waiting on getting the go-ahead for an RA-4. Damn, he loved that ship. Sexy, powerful, and it wouldn't quit on you at the last minute. It'd get the job done, which was exactly what he wanted in a ship.

Besides, he had the money, so why not get a nice little present for himself? He continued to wait, checking the door for the arrival of Dervin.
