Their both too big. And, they use Imageready i believe, not an online program.

Maximum size is 700x200.

They don't look bad, they're just plain. The transition is done nicely though.

I'd suggest getting Photoshop, one way or the other. Or Download GIMP trough Google, for free. Mess around with that and see what you'll turn up with.

Good for starters, hope to see more.
