Pertaining to the license for hazardous materials, here mentioned with specific attention are MOX and Plutonium; for the transportation of such materials to and from Kusari territory.

Today the Muldenkipper was halted by officers of the Kusari Naval Forces under the claim that the ALG have not yet supplied the required credits to be issued with a license that covers the above mentioned shipping concerns. In my absence I had assumed the issue was concluded with the office of the ALG, and in my ignorance I proceeded to undertake shipping contracts that breached Kusari Naval policy.

I, Elias Grawitz, Captain of the Muldenkipper, would like to here apologise for these actions.

If dialogue between the office of the ALG and the Kusari Naval Forces fell into an abeyance, I would seek to reopen it and request again the sum that the ALG is due to offer to the Kusari Naval coffers. There was, to my knowledge, no concrete sum at the time I absented myself.

Information on the route taken by ALG vessels was given to the Kusari gunboat that halted the Muldenkipper, if it would be preferred that the route be submitted again we would request that it is on more secure comms. Please contact myself or Herr Ralf Schmied with regards to this matter.

To the office of the Kusari Naval Forces,

We, the company ALG, seek to with great humility, request a reduction in the cost of said license. The exposure of our pilots and crews to the harmful effects of these materials that many corporations refuse to haul creates excessive cost in treatment and recovery times. The materials themselves are prone to degrading during transport, and in said degrading, to damage the hull of the ship and the modules of the ship. On consideration, is not the fact that the ALG are willing to transport such material for the Kusari people in a safe and clean manner to avoid any despoiling of the Kusari systems enough to warrant a discount of some degree? There have been reports of small Kusari corporations attempting the transport of such materials without the proper shielding and technical expertise, who are found regrettably deceased due to radiation exposure and their ships drift aimlessly in space, a radiation hazard prone to rupture via asteroid, meteorite or other stellar artefact. These hazards may even be drawn into the gravity well of a populated planet and cause untold damage to ecosystems and the humans thereon.

By contrast the reputation of the ALG is spotless in this regard, but only through great diligence and determination on the part of the corporation and its employees. While the ALG Corporation is registered in Rheinland, employment due to the proximity to Kusari space of our Helgoland station is abnormally skewed towards the recruitment of taxpaying Kusari citizens. These hard working members of our corporations family are a welcome asset, but they are now facing the prospect of a cut to wages brought on by the payment of this levy, as all levels of the ALG Corporation would have to accept.

With regard to the service of the ALG Corporation to the Kusari people and government in the transportation of the above mentioned materials, we request a discount appropriate to the duties we undertake.

Konnichiwa Mr. Grawitz,
I remember indeed previous dialogues with the ALG concerning a license to export hazardous materials through the Tau Sector.
Our offices never received (via private or public frequences) flight plans for said cargo ships and eventually no deposit money to cover them,
therefore no license was issued.

Now that flight plans has been received I will gladly submit the matter to the Council of the Rising Suns
which will overview also the possibility of a discount on the license deposit costs.
I will contact you soon as I have news.

All funds requested for the license to transport hazardous materials into the Tau systems from Kusari space have been transferred from the [ALG] to the coffers of the KNF. We shall endeavour to provide a clean, dependable service to the Kishiro company and the Kusari nation. If there are any concerns regarding those with an [ALG] identifier in subsequent violations of Kusari law, please do not hesitate to contact our offices on Dortmund Station.

Note that this only covers those vessels with the [ALG] identifier, the GSI| are a separate branch outside my remit.

While this was a protracted negotiation, I am glad the final result is so agreeable.

I'm glad to inform that I witnessed the ALG convoys flying safetly through Kusari space into the Tau systems. I wish good luck to the ALG in this campaign, and I want to remind them, that the KNF will protect the ALG convoys against any threat found.

Konichiwa Honorable Commanders,

OSI would like to apply for a company license for moving restricted goods into the Tau systems. While we currently only bring Consumer goods to Freeport 10, this may change in the future. It is also my understanding that you may be adding Iridium to the restricted item listing and since we do take shipments of that commodity to Planet Kyushu, I thought it best to have all of my ships registered.

Currently we move the consumer goods from Ames research station, through New Tokyo and Kyushu into Tau-23 and finally to Tau-37.

Please notify me of the cost for the company license and to which account I may wire the credits.

Konnichiwa Mr. Nichols,
after reading your message I think a license would not be needed, currently the restriction concerns only some export products.
Consumer Goods are not among the list of restricted goods while regarding Iridium...if you take it to Planet Kyushu you are importing it to Kusari (or moving it inside house space to Planet Kyushu) and no license would be needed for that.

*Reverence* Konnichiwa, Daisa Hiroito speaking. One Interspace transport contacted me yesterday, regargind the license for exporting commodities throught the Taus. After a short interrogatory with the subject, and seeing that there was not risk on granting him the license, I told him to dock at planet New Tokyo to finish with the paper work.
The credits to aval the license were sent via neural net, to [KNF]IKN-Bakumatsu, unfourtanely, on my way to meet this pilot, I got a distress call and had to leave quick. I didn't have time to register his name. But, I did tell him to come here and introduce himself.
I hope, he's gonna do it soon, so we can finish with the license.
